There are changes to the COVID-19 testing requirements.

All passengers 12 years old and above must have a valid vaccination certificate to travel to Angola. Travelers without a vaccination certificate must present a negative molecular-based COVID-19 RT-PCR test result for a test taken not more than 48 hours before departure. A digital copy of the certificate will be accepted.

Travelers must carry a valid vaccination certificate with a QR code that shows they have been fully vaccinated with a vaccine approved by WHO. A digital copy of the certificate will be accepted.

All travelers 12 years old and above must have a valid vaccination certificate to travel to Angola.

Any passenger who tests positive on arrival is subject to the relevant health authorities, who will determine the required quarantine measures.

All passengers 12 years old and above traveling from Angola must have a vaccination certificate.

While not mandatory, it is recommended that passengers departing from Angola also take an RT-PCR test before departure.

For those countries that require it, passengers should please check and request from the clinic a COVID-19 RT‑PCR test certificate with QR code at the time of the test. Passengers must make sure to complete the entry or transit requirements of their destination and carry the correct documents for travel. When in doubt, passengers should contact the nearest embassy/consulate for the latest information and requirements.

Passengers must check if their destination requires their pre-departure COVID-19 test certificate to have a QR code and request this at the facility at the time of testing.

Check-in opens at 2.15pm local time in Luanda:

• For passengers traveling to the USA, check-in closes two hours before departure
• For all other passengers, check-in closes 90 minutes before departure

• A negative COVID-19 Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) or other Nucleic Acid Amplification Test (NAAT) test taken within a 48-hour period prior to the day of your scheduled departure, or
• A negative Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) taken by or under the supervision of an authorized person within a 48-hour period prior to the day of your scheduled departure.

Passengers who are not fully vaccinated must have a negative COVID-19 RT-PCR test certificate for a test taken within 72 hours before departure.

Children under 12 years old are exempt from the COVID-19 PCR test requirement but must follow the requirements that apply to their accompanying family members.

Vaccinated passengers

Travelers who have received the required doses (single/double dose) of a WHO-approved COVID-19 vaccine and carry a valid vaccination certificate are not required to present a pre-departure COVID-19 test certificate to enter Bangladesh.

Unvaccinated passengers

Travelers who have not received the required doses (single/double dose) of a COVID-19 vaccine must present a COVID-19 RT-PCR test certificate for a test taken within 72 hours before departure.

The Online Health Declaration Form (HDF) is no longer required for travel to Bangladesh.

There are changes to the mask requirements inside Brazilian airports. 

All travelers must wear a face mask while at Brazilian airports, including when boarding or disembarking from the aircraft.

Travelers are advised not to use the following:

• Acrylic or plastic masks
• Masks with exhalation valves, including N95 and PFF2
• Scarves, cloth bandanas or any other material that is not a protective mask
• Face shields without a face mask
• Single-layer masks or those that do not comply with the minimum requirements set out in ABNT PR 1002 – Guide to basic requirements for methods of testing, manufacturing and use

Masks must be used adjusted to the face, covering the nose, chin and mouth.

Travelers with medical conditions that prevent them from making proper use of face masks are exempt from this requirement.

From April 1, 2022, fully vaccinated passengers with proof of vaccination will no longer be required to complete the Travelers Health Declaration (DSV) or test for COVID-19 to be accepted for travel to Brazil.

Passengers who are not fully vaccinated can enter Brazil with a COVID-19 RT-PCR test within 24 hours before departure from the first embarkation point or a COVID-19 antigen test at most 24 hours before departure from the first embarkation point. The negative COVID-19 RT-PCR or antigen test result must be presented at check-in to be accepted on the flight. The test result must be in English, Portuguese or Spanish.

International transit passengers must follow the rules of their final destination.

Passengers who have been infected with COVID-19 in the last 90 days, counted from the date that symptoms were first detected, who are asymptomatic but still test positive during RT‑PCR testing will be accepted for travel provided they present the following documents:

• Two positive COVID-19 RT-PCR test results, with an interval of at least fourteen days, the second one taken not more than one day before boarding
• Medical certificate that must contain the signature of the responsible physician and declare that the individual is asymptomatic and able to travel, including the date of travel

Exemptions:

For children between 2 and 11 years old who are traveling with a fully vaccinated adult, both the child and the adult are exempt from presenting a negative COVID-19 test result.

Children 2 to 12 years old who are traveling unaccompanied must present a negative COVID 19 result for an RT PCR or antigen test taken one day before the moment of boarding.

Travelers 12 years old and above, who are fully vaccinated can enter Brazil by presenting a printed or electronic proof of vaccination with a vaccine approved by the National Health Surveillance Agency (ANVISA) or by the World Health Organization or by the authorities of their departure country at check-in, and at least 14 days must have passed since they received the last required dose.

Exemptions:

• Children below 12 years old, traveling accompanied. Please refer to the COVID-19 testing requirements section for more details.
• Passengers with a health condition that contraindicates vaccination, provided that it is certified by a medical report
• Passengers not eligible for vaccination due to age, according to criteria defined by the Ministry of Health in the National Plan for the Operationalization of Vaccination against COVID-19 and published on the Ministry of Health website
• Passengers holding special approval from the Brazilian Government due to humanitarian issues
• Passengers from countries with low vaccination rates, as disclosed by the Ministry of Health on its website(Opens an external website in a new tab)

• Afghanistan, Algeria, Angola, Armenia, Benin, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Chad, Congo, Ivory Coast, Democratic Republic of Congo, Djibouti, Egypt, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Gabon, The Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Haiti, Iraq, Kenya, Kiribati, Liberia, Libya, Madagascar, Malawi, Mali, Mozambique, Myanmar, Namibia, Nicaragua, Niger, Nigeria, Papua New Guinea, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Solomon Islands, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, Syria, Iran, Uganda, Tanzania, Vanuatu, Yemen and Zambia

• Brazilians and foreigners residing in Brazilian territory who are not fully vaccinated.

There are changes to the requirements for travel from China to Canada.

Before you travel, please ensure you understand the requirements for travel to Canada(Opens an external website in a new tab).

Effective January 5, 2023, 12:01 a.m. EST, all passengers two years old and above who are traveling from China and the Administrative Regions of Hong Kong and Macau must present a negative result of a COVID-19 antigen or PCR test taken not more than two days before departure from their first departure country. 

Travelers who have recently recovered from COVID-19 must present a positive COVID-19 test result issued more than 10 days but less than 91 days before departure from their first departure country, or a positive COVID-19 test result issued less than 10 days before departure from the first departure country along with a signed letter from a licensed healthcare provider or public health official stating that the passenger’s COVID-19 symptoms started more than 10 days before departure from the first departure country. 

While travelers will no longer have to submit their quarantine and vaccination information through ArriveCAN, they can continue to use the optional Advance Declaration feature in ArriveCAN (free as a mobile app or on the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) website) to save time at the airport by submitting their customs and immigration declaration in advance of arrival.

Visa requirements for APEC cardholders: Only passengers holding a physical card are accepted for entry to Guangzhou.

All passengers (Chinese and foreign nationals) must complete the China Customs Health Declaration via the China Customs app(Opens a PDF in a new tab), WeChat app(Opens a PDF in a new tab) or online(Opens an external website in a new tab) as applicable. At check-in, passengers must present the QR code as proof that they have submitted the personal health declaration form. Printed forms will not be accepted.

The Customs Health Declaration QR code is valid for 24 hours before arrival in China.

• Seat number is mandatory and must be added to the Customs Health Declaration form after check-in.
• The new QR code must be presented at the boarding gate after the seat number is updated in the Customs Health Declaration form.

Passengers transiting or connecting through China from Dubai must enter their flight and seat number in their Health Declaration form.

From 7 March 2022, fully vaccinated passengers are not required to take a pre departure COVID 19 test for travel to Cote d’Ivoire.

Passengers who are not fully vaccinated, except children under below 12 years old, travelling to Abidjan from any country must have a valid printed negative COVID-19 PCR test certificate for a test taken not more than 72 hours before arrival. A certificate from any government approved laboratory is acceptable.

All arriving passengers are required to undergo a free COVID-19 antigen testing upon arrival.

All departing passengers who require a COVID-19 PCR test for their final destination must conduct the test at a government designated laboratory. From 20 September 2021 the COVID‑19 PCR certificate must include a QR code.

The COVID-19 test cost is 25,000 FCFA payable online.

Passengers travelling to Ethiopia are required to complete the Monkey Pox declaration form. Please refer to the Required documents section for further details.

Visa on arrival services are available for eligible passengers provided they apply for OK to board approval before travelling to Ethiopia.

Exemptions:

• Transfer passengers
• Passengers with sticker visas
• E-visas with a confirmation page showing the passenger details along with a photo of the passenger will be accepted
• Visa on arrival will only be granted to passengers who were born in Ethiopia, whose passport states Ethiopia as their place of birth
• Children of Ethiopian nationals or Residence Card holders who are travelling with their parents, who will be allowed to enter the country with a visa on arrival eligibility or if they have a pre issued sticker or e-visa
• Passengers with Africa Union IDs or Diplomatic IDs issued by the Ethiopian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, given the ID is valid
• Passengers with Ethiopian Origin ID

All passengers arriving in Ethiopia’s Addis Ababa Bole International Airport must meet one of the following conditions:

1. Any international traveller above the age of twelve arriving in Addis Ababa must have a negative certificate for a COVID-19 RT-PCR test done not more than 72 hours or three days before departure or an antigen-RDT test taken not more than 24 hours before arrival in Ethiopia.
2. Any international traveller that has a certificate of recovery from COVID-19 within 90 days of travel or vaccination certificate that shows they have received all the required doses of an accepted COVID-19 vaccine.
3. Any transit passenger who arrives in Addis Ababa Bole International Airport and decides to leave the airport must comply with clause 1 or 2, otherwise, they must take an antigen-RDT test at the airport or at the hotel designated by the airline. They will only be permitted to travel if they test negative for COVID-19.
4. Any diplomat who arrives in Addis Ababa Bole International Airport who does not comply with either clause 1 or 2 must take an antigen-RDT test before leaving the airport. Travellers in this category who refuse to take the test or test positive for COVID-19 must self-isolate for 7 days.
5. Any returning passenger may enter the country if they comply with either clause 1 or 2 or if they take an antigen-RDT test on arrival at the airport. If the test result is positive, they must follow the protocols set by local health authorities.

Passengers who are positive for COVID-19 will not be accepted for travel to Ethiopia.

For returning passengers, the COVID-19 RT-PCR test certificate issued in Ethiopia will not be accepted for their return journey.

Full vaccination means at least two weeks have passed since the passengers received a single dose of Johnson and Johnson, and 2 doses of AstraZeneca, Sinopharm, Sinovac, Moderna, and Pfizer.

Passengers are considered recovered from COVID-19 7 days after a positive RT-PCR or antigen RDT test if they are asymptomatic. Passengers who present symptoms of COVID-19 will be considered recovered 7 days after symptoms presented and an additional 3 days without symptoms.

If you are travelling from Ethiopia, you may be required to take a COVID-19 PCR test and submit additional documentation before departure. Please check the requirements of your specific destination before travel.

There are no longer any COVID-19 entry restrictions for travel to Germany. This includes requirements for testing, vaccination, quarantine and entry forms.

Entry for passengers travelling to Germany from China is only permitted for people who have an urgent need to travel to Germany; all non essential travel is prohibited. This is also applicable to fully vaccinated passengers. 

Restrictions are in place for passengers who have stayed in an area of Variants of Concern – VOC. Currently there are no countries listed in this category, however this can change without prior notice. 

• Passengers from the age 12 years, including transit passengers, who have stayed in an area of Variants of Concern (VOV) during the last 10 days before travelling to Germany must have proof of a negative COVID 19 PCR, POC NAT or equivalent test. Proof of vaccination, a negative antigen test or proof of recovery from COVID-19 alone will not be accepted.
• Passengers arriving in Germany from a country of variants of concern (VOC) must hold a valid negative COVID 19 PCR, POC NAT or equivalent test certificate. The sample collection for the test must not be more than 48 hours before the time of departure. Proof of vaccination, a negative antigen test or proof of recovery from COVID-19 alone will not be accepted.

Any passenger who presents symptoms of COVID 19 (e.g. fever, cough, difficulty breathing, sneezing, poor general condition, etc.) on arrival will undergo a standard diagnostic test (PCR) and be isolated while waiting for the test results. International to international transit/transfer through Jakarta (CGK) airport is now allowed for a maximum of 6 hours. International to domestic transfer is allowed and travelers must present all entry requirements at the first port of entry. 

International to international transit or transfer through Denpasar (DPS) airport is now allowed for a maximum of eight hours. Between 2:00 a.m. -7:00 p.m. (LT), the airport closure period, international to international transit or transfer passengers must clear CIQ and must fulfill DPS entry requirements.

International air travel is only allowed at airports in Jakarta (CGK), Manado (MDC), Surabaya (SUB), Denpasar Bali (DPS), Batam (BTH), Lombok International Airport (LOP), Medan (KNO), Ujung Pandang (UPG), Yogyakarta (YIA), Banda Aceh (BTJ), Padang (PDG), Balikpapan (BPN), Pekanbaru (PKU), Kertajati (KJT) and Sentani (DJJ).

Visa-free entry or visa on arrival is only allowed through CGK, DPS, KNO, SUB, UPG, MDC, YIA, BTH, LOP, PDG, BPN, PKU, KJT, DJJ and BTJ.

Guarantors must apply for visit visas and limited stay visas online(Opens an external website in a new tab) to the Directorate General of Immigration based on the visit purposes and must have the following information:

• A certificate proving complete vaccination against COVID-19
• Statement letter agreeing to follow all health protocols applied in Indonesia; and
• Proof of health insurance/travel insurance including health coverage, and or a statement letter agreeing to settle all applicable costs if infected with COVID-19 during their stay in Indonesia

Visit visas and limited stay visas are granted by the Director General of Immigration in the form of an electronic visa (eVisa). Visit visas with an eVisa Number ending in DN cannot be used for entry, as this code is for a visa extension for foreign nationals who have entered Indonesia and are currently staying in Indonesia (On Shore Visa). Visit visa numbers to enter Indonesia should end with LN (Off Shore Visa).

Diplomatic visa and official visa are regulated by Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Holders of diplomatic and service passports from 91 countries(Opens an external website in a new tab) can enter Indonesia with the free visa facility if the visit purpose of the visit is related to diplomatic or official visits with supporting documents:

• Carrying a diplomatic duty note or visit statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Republic Indonesia and or foreign state ministry
• Invitation letter issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Republic Indonesia for those attending meetings and or conferences in Indonesia
• Presenting a health protocol, such as downloading SatuSehat Apps, a COVID-19 vaccine certificate and other applicable protocol.

Pre-departure COVID-19 RT-PCR testing is no longer required for travel to Indonesia.

Passengers who present COVID-19 symptoms on arrival in Bali and Jakarta might be subject to RT-PCR testing at the airport. All passengers, except Indonesian citizens, who are requested to take an on arrival RT-PCR test must pay the IDR 275,000 fee.

All foreign nationals must present a printed or digital COVID-19 vaccine certificate confirming that they have been fully vaccinated 14 days before departure. If the certificate is not in English, English translation must be provided.

Unvaccinated Indonesian nationals are allowed to enter Indonesia. Passengers in this category who do not present COVID-19 symptoms will receive a COVID-19 vaccine on arrival.

Exemptions to presenting a COVID-19 vaccine certificate apply to:

• Passengers below 18 years old
• Foreigners holding diplomatic and official visas relating to official state visits at ministerial level or above
• Passengers who cannot be vaccinated due to medical conditions must present a doctor/specialist’s statement from a government hospital that they are unfit for COVID-19 vaccination
• Passengers who have a recovery certificate issued by an authorized health agency that clearly states that the passenger is no longer infectious

Indonesia recognizes all COVID-19 vaccines, as long as the vaccine is approved by the country in which it has been administered.

Indonesian nationals 18 years old and above who are traveling overseas must present a COVID-19 vaccination certificate using the SatuSehat app. The certificate must state that they have received a booster or third dose of a COVID-19 vaccine. This requirement is not applicable for Indonesian nationals who are medically exempt from vaccination and Indonesian nationals who have a COVID-19 recovery certificate stating that they are no longer infectious. The certificate must be issued by Indonesian health authorities.

All passengers arriving in Indonesia must also complete the electronic Customs Declaration form https://ecd.beacukai.go.id/

Fully vaccinated passengers are not required to quarantine upon arrival in Indonesia.

Passengers who request a COVID-19 RT-PCR comparison test can complete the test at one of the appointed laboratories such as Cipto Mangunkusomo General Hospital Centre (RSCM), Army Hospital Centre Gatot Subroto (RSPAD), or Indonesian Police Hospital Centre Raden Said Sukanto (RS. POLRI), Health Research and Development Agency (Balitbangkes), or other Regional Government Laboratory. The passenger has to complete the form provided by port health authorities and take the test at their own expense.

Entry to Iran is allowed only for Iranian nationals and foreign nationals who have any of the following:

• Residence permit
• Entry visa (merchants)
• Work permit visa;
• Medical visa
• Investment visa
• Exit and return stamp from Iran Immigration

Eligible passengers must apply for the Entry Visa online and receive approval before travelling to Iran.

All passengers over 12 years old should be fully vaccinated or have a negative COVID 19 RT-PCR test certificate for a test taken not more than 72 hours before departure to be accepted for travel to Iran. You are considered fully vaccinated 14 days after you receive the final required dose of any COVID-19 vaccine.

The test certificate must be in English. Certificates that are not in English must be certified by an Iranian consulate.

Nationals of Iran who left Iran after 6 April 2022 may present a negative COVID 19 RT PCR test taken no more than 72 hours from the first embarkation point.

Passengers will be screened on arrival. Passengers showing symptoms of COVID‑19 will be retested at their own expense (equivalent to IRR 2,500,000).

Passengers must be fully vaccinated to be accepted for travel to Iran or have a negative PCR test certificate. All vaccines are accepted.

All passengers regardless of point of origin or nationality must complete the COVID-19 screening self declaration form, which will be available on board, and present it to the health representatives on arrival.

All costs for the COVID 19 PCR test (around USD 17) as well as hotel quarantine charges (around USD 30 per night) will be at the passenger’s expense.

Travel to South Korea from China

Effective January 3, 2023, travelers who have visited and stayed in China in the last 7 days before travel to South Korea must complete their details on the Q Code or Health Questionnaire form. PCR test must be taken within one day from arrival at the airport test center under own cost and wait for the result at designated location. Korean and foreign nationals may take the test at the district health center. Test result must be uploaded on the Q Code.

Transit passengers

Travelers, except children below 6 years old, who have transited through China in the past 7 days and stayed in the transit area without entering the country must present one of the following certificates: 

- a negative COVID-19 antigen test report for a test taken not more than 24 hours before departure from the first departure country.

- a negative COVID-19 PCR test report for a test taken not more than 48 hours before departure from the first departure country.

There are no longer any COVID 19 entry restrictions for travel to Malaysia. Passengers are no longer required to hold a COVID 19 vaccination certificate or a COVID 19 test result to enter the country. Quarantine restrictions have also been lifted.

• Flight itinerary must be planned with the shortest connecting flights, and transit time must not be more than 24 hours.

Passengers traveling to the Maldives as tourists must have a confirmed hotel reservation for their stay at registered tourist facilities.

Passengers traveling from Maldives must confirm the COVID-19 PCR test requirements of their destination country and present the test result certificate at check-in. Please contact your resort’s guest relations department for assistance with COVID-19 PCR testing, if required.

Effective immediately, only fully vaccinated passengers 12 years old and above will be accepted for travel to Pakistan.

Non-vaccinated Pakistani nationals travelling from abroad are exempted from mandatory vaccination for the following reasons. This category of passengers will be accepted for travel provided they present valid proof at check-in:

• Passengers who have an expired visa or Emirates ID or are illegal immigrants/deportees
• Passengers (Pakistan nationals/ foreigners) who are medically advised against COVID-19 vaccination and have a medical certificate certifying the same
• Pregnant women
• Pakistan national passengers below 12 years old
• Foreign nationals below 18 years old
• Pakistan nationals / foreign nationals who have travelled outside of Pakistan before 1 October 2021 are allowed to enter Pakistan without a vaccination certificate. Such passengers, if travelling through connecting flights after entering Pakistan, will be allowed to continue their domestic travel
  
• Partially vaccinated Pakistan nationals and foreign nationals above 12 years old must have a negative COVID-19 PCR test certificate for a test taken within 72 hours before departure to be accepted for travel to Pakistan.

Note: There is no requirement of completing 14 days after the second dose of vaccination.

Passengers travelling from Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, or the United Arab Emirates may be subject to COVID-19 rapid antigen testing on arrival in Pakistan.

Passengers 12 years old and below are exempt from the COVID-19 rapid antigen testing requirement.

All returning Hajj pilgrims must undergo COVID-19 RAT testing on arrival at all airports in Pakistan.

Effective 24 Feb 2022, only non-vaccinated passengers 12 years and above are required to carry a negative certificate for a COVID-19 RT PCR test conducted within 72 hours prior to the departure of their flight. The test certificate must be issued in English. For detailed information, please refer to the government website(Opens page in a new tab).

Fully vaccinated passengers 12 years and above do not require a COVID-19 RT-PCR test before travelling Pakistan provided they present a valid vaccination certificate at check-in.

The following tests are considered equivalent to PCR based tests for COVID-19: Real Time RT-PCR for Covid-19, Real Time RT-PCR for SARS-Cov-2, RT-PCR for COVID-19, RT-PCR for SARS-Cov-2, PCR for COVID-19, PCR for SARS-Cov-2, Xpert Xpress SARS-Cov-2 or SARS-Cov-2 GeneXpert.

All Non-vaccinated passengers and deportees must undergo rapid antigen testing on arrival in Pakistan.

The following passengers are exempted from PASS TRACK app requirements:

• Children aged five and under
• Incapacitate passengers
• High-level international delegations
• Pakistani deportees

Cabin crew must comply with the COVID-19 RT-PCR/rapid antigen testing requirements but are not required to download the Pak Pass Track app.

COVID-19 testing for diplomats, diplomatic staff and their families travelling to Pakistan

The following is required of all diplomats, diplomatic staff and their families to be accepted for travel to Pakistan:

• For non-vaccinated diplomats a valid negative COVID-19 PCR test result for a test conducted within 72 hours of travel to Pakistan.
• Non-vaccinated diplomats are exempted from the rapid antigen test upon arrival in Pakistan but are subject to a 10-day quarantine with COVID-19 PCR testing to be conducted on days 2 and 8. However, any passenger who tests positive will be subjected to mandatory home quarantine.

Only negative COVID-19 PCR test certificates from designated laboratories in the UAE(Opens a PDF in a new tab) will be accepted for travel to Pakistan from the UAE. 

Designated laboratories for COVID 19 testing for passengers travelling from Bahrain to Pakistan 

Only negative COVID-19 PCR test certificates from designated laboratories in Bahrain(Opens a PDF in a new tab) will be accepted for travel to Pakistan from Bahrain.

Designated laboratories for COVID 19 testing for passengers travelling from Iraq (Baghdad) to Pakistan 

Only negative COVID 19 PCR test certificates from designated laboratories in Baghdad(Opens a PDF in a new tab) will be accepted for travel to Pakistan from Iraq.

Non-vaccinated passengers 12 years old and above who test positive for COVID-19 on arrival in Pakistan will undergo a 10-day home quarantine following strict Trace, Test & Quarantine (TTQ) protocols.

Effective 1 December 2021, only fully vaccinated passengers 15 years old and above will be accepted for travel from Pakistan. 

Exemptions apply to the following passenger categories: 

• Foreigners / foreign passport holders
• Pakistan nationals below 15 years old
• Passengers who are medically advised against COVID-19 vaccination and have a medical certificate certifying the same

Effective 16 November 2020 for passengers originating their journey from Pakistan to any destinations requiring COVID-19 PCR test, Emirates will only accept COVID-19 negative test certificate from a Pakistan Government Approved Lab* where a QR Code is embedded on their printed certificate for verification purpose.

All Philippine destinations (Manila, Clark and Cebu) are open to all travelers under the following travel categories:

A. All Filipinos including those who have proof of recognition as citizen (Identification Certificates) and those who reacquired their citizenship by presenting a Citizenship Retention and Reacquisition Certificate.

B. All foreign nationals may enter the Philippines provided they comply with the applicable visa requirements and immigration entry and departure formalities as well as the vaccination and testing requirements of the Philippine Bureau of Quarantine.

C. All temporary visitors must have valid tickets for their return journey to the port of origin or next port of destination within the legal duration of stay as defined by their visa.

However, this does not apply to foreign spouses and/or children of Filipino citizens and former Filipino citizens with Balikbayan Privileges (under RA9174).

Chinese nationals with a valid AJACS and Indian nationals with a valid AJACSSUK (AJACS, Singapore or UK) visa traveling for tourism or leisure will be accepted for visa-free entry to the Philippines. This does not apply to passengers traveling for business.

Foreign nationals who fail to comply with the requirements will be denied entry into the country.

D. Young Passengers and Unaccompanied minors (below 18 years old) arriving in the Philippines

All passengers traveling as Young Passengers or Unaccompanied Minors (below 18 years old) will be accepted for travel to the Philippines under the following conditions.

All passengers traveling as young passengers or unaccompanied minors (below 18 years old) must be coordinated by the sending station (origin) to the receiving Philippine station (final destination) at least 24 hours before travel for local coordination with the Philippine Bureau of Quarantine. All young passengers and unaccompanied minors without prior coordination will not be accepted for travel.

E. Passengers traveling as medical repatriates must get prior approval 3 days before the start of their journey. 

F. Foreign diplomats and their dependents, foreign dignitaries and members of their delegation, 9(e) visa holders, personnel of Philippine Foreign Service Posts (FSPs) and their dependents, and Philippine government officials on official travel may travel whether vaccinated or not. 

G. Transit passengers

The following passengers can now transfer through different terminals:

a) Foreign nationals who comply with the visa requirements to enter the Philippines

b) Foreign passengers allowed to enter the country under Executive Order 408 (EO 408)

c) Foreign passengers who are not required to present a visa to enter the Philippines

Passengers must comply with all the applicable health requirements and minimum public health standards during their transit.

Travel to Cebu

Travel to Clark 

For all other required information relative to travel to Clark (CRK), you may visit the Clark International Airport website(Opens page in a new tab).

All passengers, both Filipinos and foreign nationals, will be accepted for travel whether fully vaccinated, partially vaccinated or whose vaccination status cannot be independently validated provided that they follow the COVID-19 testing requirements.

A. e-Travel Registration 

All passengers (including children and infants) and crew bound for Manila (MNL), Cebu (CEB) and Clark (CRK) are advised to register to e-Travel(Opens page in a new tab) within 72 hours before travel to avoid inconvenience upon arrival.

e-Travel(Opens page in a new tab) registration is mandatory before entering the country.

B. Immigrations Arrival Card (this form is available on board and on arrival

C. Customs Declaration Form (this form is available on arrival)

Fully vaccinated passengers will no longer be required to undergo facility-based quarantine. Travelers, whether Filipino or foreign national, who test positive for COVID-19 on arrival must undergo the latest quarantine and isolation protocols of the Philippine Department of Health.

A. Fully vaccinated individuals

Fully vaccinated travelers, both Filipinos and foreign nationals are no longer required to take a pre-departure COVID-19 test.

Passengers are considered fully vaccinated if they meet the following conditions:

• Received the second dose in a 2-dose series or single dose COVID-19 vaccine more than fourteen days before the date and time of departure from the country of origin.
• Can present any of the following proofs of vaccination:
  • World Health Organization International Certificate of Vaccination and Prophylaxis
  • VaxCert PH
  • National or state manual/digital vaccination certificate of the country/foreign government
  • Other proof of vaccination

B. Unvaccinated, partially vaccinated and passengers whose vaccination status cannot be independently validated

• Filipinos and foreign nationals 15 years old and older must present a negative remotely supervised or laboratory-based rapid antigen test result administered and certified by a healthcare professional in a healthcare facility, laboratory, clinic, pharmacy or similar facility taken within 24 hours before the date and time of departure for the Philippines, excluding layovers, provided that the passenger has not left the airport premises or has not been admitted into another country during such layover.
• Filipinos and foreign nationals 15 years old and older who fail to present a negative pre-departure test are required to undergo a laboratory based rapid antigen negative test upon arrival at the airport.
• Unvaccinated accompanied minors below 15 years must follow the quarantine protocols applicable to their parent/s or adult/guardian traveling with them.
• Unvaccinated unaccompanied minors below 15 years old must either present a negative rapid antigen test result for a test taken 24 hours before departure to the Philippines or undergo antigen testing on arrival at the airport.

Travelers, whether Filipino or foreign nationals, who test positive for COVID-19 on arrival must undergo the latest quarantine and isolation protocols of the Philippine Department of Health.

C. Filipino passengers who have recovered from but still testing positive for COVID-19 

Filipino nationals who have recovered from COVID-19 but test positive in the pre departure RT PCR or antigen test may be accepted for travel if they are able to present the following documents:

• A positive RT PCR test certificate for a test taken at least 10 days but not more than 30 days before the date and time of departure from the country of origin/port of embarkation 
• A positive RT PCR test result for a test taken not more than 48 hours before departure from the country of origin/first port of embarkation in a continuous travel to the Philippines, excluding layovers; provided that they have not left the airport premises or have not been admitted into another country during such lay over 
• A medical certificate issued by a licensed physician stating that the Filipino national: 

- was an asymptomatic, mild, moderate, severe or critical case of COVID-19 

- has completed the mandatory isolation period

- is no longer infectious 

- has been allowed free movement and travel

Effective April 15, all Filipino passengers (including children and infants) traveling from Manila (MNL), Cebu (CEB) and Clark (CRK) are required to register to e Travel(Opens page in a new tab) within 72 hours before their scheduled departure from the Philippines.

Printed Departure Cards will no longer be available as of May 1, 2023.

There are no longer any COVID-19 entry restrictions for travel to Saudi Arabia. This includes requirements for testing, vaccination, quarantine and entry forms.

Entry into Saudi Arabia is currently suspended for passengers coming from Iran. This includes passengers coming from other countries if they have passed through Iran in the past 14 days before their arrival in Saudi Arabia. This does not apply to passengers who have spent 14 days or more in another country.

Visit visa holders are required to have insurance to cover the costs of COVID 19 treatment during their stay in Saudi Arabia.

Passengers travelling to Saudi Arabia can register their vaccination details online before their departure on the MUQEEM portal in order to be able to register on the TAWAKKALNA app.

Saudi nationals travelling outside Saudi Arabia must have received the booster dose of a COVID 19 vaccine if at least 8 months have passed since you received the second required dose. Saudi nationals who have received all the required doses of an approved COVID 19 vaccine in Saudi Arabia must update their status on the Tawakkala app.

• Nationals of members states of the West African Economic and Monetary Union (UEMOA) and from Economic Community of West (CEDEAO)
• EU citizens
• Third-country nationals regularly established in Senegal and holding a residence permit issued by the competent services of the Republic of Senegal

Passengers who are not fully vaccinated must present a negative COVID-19 PCR or RT-PCR test result issued not more than 72 hours before departure from the first embarkation point. The test result must be in English or French.

The test certificate must be issued by a laboratory located in the state from which the customer commences their journey and is listed on the list of laboratories approved by this State or a health organization internationally recognized.

Fully vaccinated passengers are not required to take a pre-departure test provided they present a vaccination certificate duly issued by the competent services. The vaccination certificate must certify that the passenger has received the required doses of the vaccine at least 14 days before the travel date.

Children below 2 years old are exempt from the vaccination certificate requirement.

The vaccination certificate must certify that the passenger has received the required doses of the vaccine at least fourteen days before the travel date and must contain a QR code.

Vaccines accepted in Senegal are AstraZeneca (SK Bioscience), AstraZeneca (Vaxzevria), Covaxin, Covishield, Covovax, Janssen, Moderna (Spikevax), Nuvaxovid (Novavax), Pfizer-BioNTech (Comirnaty), Sinovac and Sinopharm. 

Children below the 2 years old are exempt from the vaccination certificate requirement. .

From 1 December, there will no longer be any COVID-19 vaccination and testing requirements for travel to Seychelles. 

Health Travel Authorisation

• All travellers must submit travel authorisation (HTA)(Opens page in a new tab) for approval. Please note that your travel authorisation must be valid up to one day after your scheduled arrival for you to be accepted for travel.
• This applies to all travellers including children, infants as well as Seychellois and all foreigners.
• Passengers will require to have details of their passport, their travel itinerary, hotel bookings, other relevant information as well as a payment card to complete the application.
• HTA will be processed at a charge of EUR 10 for all travellers, except for Seychelles passport holders who are exempted from the fee.
• Passengers can do an urgent application and select “URGENT” at the time of payment. An additional amount of EUR60 will be charged for urgent applications which may be processed in 60 minutes but is NOT GUARANTEED. The URGENT processing is only possible for people that meets all the requirements and submit complete documentation in English or French only.
• The HTA can be presented in a form of hard or soft copy. Permitted hard copies are a paper print out or PDF and soft copies are Mobile app/ Apple Passbook versions

Visitors must have valid travel and health insurance to cover potential COVID-19 related costs.

COVID-19 PCR testing facilities are available for tourists before departure on Mahe, Praslin and La Digue.
