Emirates Best Price Guarantee

Terms and conditions

  • Best Price Guarantee applies only to the flight component of your booking with Emirates and not to any land-based products (hotel, car rental, travel insurance, or other non-flight products or services) purchased from Emirates.
  • You must have paid for your flight(s) in full (the “Purchased Fare”) at the time of booking, using a credit or debit card, PayPal, or real-time bank transfer via www.emirates.com or your country emirates.com site. Any option to hold a fare without paying in full at the time of booking does not qualify.
  • Qualifying flight(s) include one-way or round-trip flights operated solely by Emirates. Emirates flights with four-digit numbers are operated as codeshare services with other airlines and are excluded from Best Price Guarantee.
  • You will be governed by the terms and conditions applicable to your Purchased Fare in the country of departure.
  • If you find an Emirates fare on another website (that is not an emirates.com site) at a price that is cheaper than the Purchased Fare by at least US$20 per person or equivalent (the “Third-Party Fare”), Emirates will refund the difference between the Purchased Fare and the Third-Party Fare. To be eligible to apply for such a refund:
    • The Third-Party Fare must be for exactly the same itinerary as the Purchased Fare, including, but not limited to, the same flight(s), same date(s), same class of travel, same booking class, same number of passengers, and same fare conditions.
    • The Third-Party Fare must exist at the time the Purchased Fare is booked.
    • The Third-Party Fare must be in the same currency as the Purchased Fare and include all taxes, fees, surcharges, and charges applied to the payment method used for the purchased fare.
    • The Third-Party Fare must be available from a website in the country of departure of the Purchased Fare. Check carefully in the About Us or Contact Us (or similar) page of the website to check that the company is based in the country of departure.
    • The Third-Party Fare must be bookable online. Any Third-Party Fare that can be viewed but cannot be booked and paid online will be excluded from Best Price Guarantee.
  • To qualify for a refund, you must complete the online claim form in English and Emirates must receive your claim form by midnight of the day you booked your Purchased Fare in the time zone of your departure country. You must retain a screenshot or print-out showing the final price of the Third-Party Fare, inclusive of all taxes, fees, and surcharges. Emirates may request to see this screenshot to verify your claim. Emirates will independently confirm the legitimacy of the screenshot and will verify any request that it believes, in its sole discretion, is the result of a printing or other error or is made fraudulently or not in good faith. Any incomplete claim forms or any other form of claim will not be accepted.
  • Emirates will verify that your Third-Party Fare meets the criteria set out in these terms and conditions and you will be notified whether you have qualified for a refund within 72 hours of submitting your claim. Emirates will endeavor to complete the refund within 15 working days of notification that you have qualified for a refund. If the booking originates from India, the refund will be processed within 30 working days. Emirates decision will be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
  • Any refund will be credited to the credit or debit card, PayPal account, or bank account that was used to pay the Purchased Fare.
  • Best Price Guarantee will not apply in the following situations:
    • the fare is offered outside of the public domain or is a special eligibility fare, including but not limited to third-party promotion fares; corporate discount fares; senior, affiliate, or wholesale fares; opaque agencies; staff fares; consolidator, group, or Visit Family and Relatives fares; or closed user group offers;
    • the Purchased Fare or Third-Party Fare has been discounted by the use of frequent flyer miles, Business Rewards miles, currency of any type of any loyalty program, coupons, or any other offers or discounts;
    • either the Purchased Fare or Third-Party Fare make up part of a travel package that includes the flights;
    • you have requested a refund or cancelation of any section of the itinerary or subsequently made any amendments to the Purchased Fare;
    • Emirates, using reasonable endeavors, is unable to verify that the Third-Party Fare was bookable online on the date of your claim;
    • the Best Price Guarantee is not offered in the country of departure;
    • you have located a Third-Party Fare at a different time from when you completed your booking on emirates.com, even if you didn’t pay immediately at the time of booking— for example, you made a booking on Monday and chose to pay by bank transfer and on Tuesday, before sending your bank transfer, you found a Third-Party Fare at a cheaper price. The time of payment is not relevant; only the time of booking is relevant.
  • Emirates reserves the right to cancel this promotion or amend these terms and conditions at any time without notice.
