Denied Boarding Options Voucher
If you have a Denied Boarding Options voucher, you can redeem it for a flight only after you have flown your original flight by getting in touch with us.
The journey you can book will depend on the journey you were taking when you were denied boarding. If you can find your journey listed in the table below, you can redeem your Denied Boarding Options voucher for any of the flights also listed as long as it is on an Emirates-operated route.
Depending on your voucher type, you may be able to book a trip listed in another table. This is outlined in the Options Voucher summary table at the bottom of this page.

For travel between Dubai and Zone 1—Denied Boarding Option Voucher 1
This option is for tickets where the original travel was exclusively between Dubai and cities in Zone 1 (as outlined below). This voucher can be used for a valid return journey, on the following cities served by Emirates, for up to two flights:

Frequently asked questions
Yes. You can change the date or the route (within the applicable zone) only for completely unutilized tickets, at no additional charge, as long as it’s within the ticket’s one-year validity.
No. These tickets are not eligible for Skywards Miles accrual.
Yes. You can use our Chauffeur-drive service on your compensation ticket when you travel in Business Class.
Denied boarding compensation tickets cannot be redeemed if the voucher is lost or misplaced.
No – unfortunately this isn’t possible.
