When and where can I get lounge access?

As a Silver, Gold, or Platinum member, you can enjoy a range of lounge benefits, even when flying Emirates or flydubai in Economy Class.

Emirates Skywards Blue members can purchase access to the lounges in Dubai for themselves and an eligible guest when flying with Emirates.

Silver members departing on or transiting to an Emirates flight from Dubai can access any of our Business Class Lounges in Dubai International Airport, and pay for guests. Silver members can also pay to upgrade to the First Class lounge.

Blue and Silver members can pay to access our worldwide lounges when flying with Emirates, and Gold and Platinum members can also use all Emirates Lounges and affiliated lounges across the network, even when flying Emirates in Economy Class. Additionally, as a Gold member, you can take a companion traveling on the same Emirates flight into our worldwide lounges with you. Gold members can pay to bring additional guests into our worldwide lounges.

Gold and Platinum members can also access the flydubai Business Class lounges in Dubai and lounges across the flydubai network.

Once you reach Platinum, you and one adult guest plus two minors can enjoy our First Class Lounges and Business Class Lounges in Dubai International airport, and Business Class Lounges across the Emirates network, regardless of class of travel, provided that the guests are traveling on the same Emirates or flydubai* flight with you. You can pay to invite extra guests to join you.

* flydubai flights departing from Dubai International airport (Terminal 3) only

Lounge benefits will be granted based on the frequent flyer number given in your booking. To access the lounge benefits associated with your tier, please make sure to give your Emirates Skywards membership number in your booking. With the exception of Qantas, you will not be able to access the lounge if a partner/other airline frequent flyer number is quoted in your booking.

Please note that all members traveling on flights operated by other carriers (including Emirates codeshare flights), other than Qantas and flydubai, are not eligible to access the Emirates Lounges.

See all paid lounge access rules and pricing.
