Business Rewards terms and conditions

A. General

The terms and conditions set out below (the Conditions) govern the Emirates Business Rewards program (the Program). The Conditions should be read in conjunction with the terms and conditions on the Emirates website emirates.com (Emirates Website). Participation in the Program is conditioned on acceptance by the Member of these Conditions and the terms and condition on the Emirates Website. By accessing and using the Emirates Website, you agree to all such terms and conditions.

The Program is offered by Emirates, a Dubai corporation established by Decree No. 2 of 1985 (as amended) of the Government of Dubai whose registered office is at Emirates Group Headquarters Building, PO Box 686, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

MODIFICATION OF PROGRAM

We reserve the right to change, modify, or amend any part of these Conditions or the Program at any time. This right includes, but is not limited to, changes in Program partner affiliation, rules for earning and redeeming Points credit, rules for using travel awards, flight schedules, member travel benefits, and specific features of promotional offers.

B. Definitions and Interpretations

In these Conditions:

  • Emirates refers to Emirates, a Dubai corporation established by Decree No. 2 of 1985 (as amended) of the Government of Dubai whose registered office is at Emirates Group Headquarters Building, PO Box 686, Dubai, United Arab Emirates;
  • Program refers to Emirates Business Rewards, the corporate loyalty program offered by Emirates;
  • Organization refers to any corporate entity, whether for profit or not for profit, that has the right to operate in a country where the Emirates Business Rewards program is offered;
  • Member or Membership refers to any Organization participating in the Program that has agreed to the terms and condition on the Emirates Website and has been issued an Emirates Business Rewards membership number;
  • We, Our, and Us refers to Emirates and You and Your means any Organization participating in the Program;
  • Account refers to an organization's Emirates Business Rewards account;
  • Business Rewards Points or Points refers to the Points a Member earns or redeems on qualifying Emirates flights or any applicable flights;
  • Dynamic Reward Flights refers to tickets paid for using Business Rewards Points;
  • Dynamic Reward Upgrades refers to tickets upgraded using Business Rewards Points;
  • Program Administrator(s) is an individual who registers or manages the Emirates Business Rewards account on behalf of the Member;
  • Traveler or Travelers refers to employees of the Member or any third-party individuals, including Guest Travelers contracted by the Member, whose travel is paid for by the Member;
  • Employees are individuals that are employed by the Member and linked to the Member's Account;
  • Guest Travelers are third-party individuals contracted by the Member or any employees who do not manage their own travel and whose travel is being paid for by the Member. Guest Travelers may include family members accompanying Employees who are traveling on the business of the Member or pursuant to a relocation package and whose travel is being paid for by the Member;
  • Emirates Business Rewards Membership Number is a unique membership identification number that is generated upon registration of a new Account;
  • Trade License or equivalent is a legal document that gives You the right to operate a business in Your city or country;
  • Country of Operation is the country from which the Organization operates and from which its trade license is issued;
  • Corporate Funds is a payment option available to Employees linked to an Organization's Emirates Business Rewards Account; this option allows Employees to send travel requests to Program Administrators for payment of the booking;
  • Travel Requests are bookings created by Employees linked to an Emirates Business Rewards Account that are sent to the Program Administrators for payment;
  • Partner or Supplier means a provider of goods or services that is participating in the Program from time to time; Partners and Suppliers may include airlines; hotels and resorts; financial, leisure, and lifestyle service providers; and car rental companies;
  • Emirates Skywards means, as the context requires, Emirates operating a frequent flyer program on its own behalf or the frequent flyer program itself. Emirates Skywards® is a trademark or registered trademark of Emirates.
  • Skywards Miles are accrued by an Emirates Skywards member by the consumption of qualifying goods and services in accordance with Emirates Skywards program rules;
  • Conditions of Carriage means the terms and conditions governing Your carriage set forth here;
  • Total spending refers to the total amount the Member spends on corporate and regular fares for Emirates flights (excluding taxes);
  • Cash Saved means the total amount the Member saves by redeeming Business Rewards Points for Dynamic Reward Flights and Upgrades;
  • Points Earned refers to the Business Rewards Points the Member has earned on Eligible flights;
  • Points Spent refers to the Business Rewards Points redeemed for Dynamic Reward Flights and Dynamic Reward Upgrades on Eligible flights;
  • Corporate Fares refers to any fare type that is part of a corporate travel agreement with Emirates or any fare type that is not eligible for Business Rewards Points;
  • Regular Fares refers to any fare type that is generally publicly available and is eligible to earn Business Rewards Points;
  • Emirates Business Rewards Booking Page refers to the pages on Emirates.com from which an Emirates Business Rewards booking can be initiated;
  • Eligible Accrual Flights means the flights on which Members are eligible to earn Business Rewards Points; to be eligible, the ticket must meet each of the following conditions:
    I. The flight is booked by logging in to the Member's Emirates Business Rewards account or through Emirates Contact Centers, Emirates Ticket Offices, or Your preferred travel agent; and
    II. The ticket is issued on an Emirates document (whose 13-digit ticket number begins with 176) and the ticket is on an Emirates-marketed flight (the flight number has the designator EK) and is operated by Emirates (all three conditions must be met); and
    III. The airfare purchased is offered to the general public or is offered under Emirates’ marine or missionary fare programs.
  • Eligible Reward Flights means the flights on which Members can redeem Business Rewards Points where the ticket meets each of the following conditions:
    I. The Dynamic Reward Flight or Dynamic Reward Upgrade is booked by logging in to the Business Rewards account; and
    II. The ticket is issued on an Emirates document (whose 13-digit ticket number begins with 176) and the ticket is on an Emirates-marketed flight (the flight number has the designator EK) and is operated by Emirates (all three conditions must be met).

C. Membership

  1. An Organization must apply for Membership to the Program on the Emirates Business Rewards section of the Emirates Website.
  2. The Organization must be located and registered in a country in which the Emirates Business Rewards program is offered.
  3. Membership is offered at Our discretion.
  4. Membership is not open to individuals.
  5. The Organization must have a valid Trade License or equivalent in its Country of Operation, unless otherwise specified by Emirates.
  6. All Organization types are permitted to join the Program, with the exception of
    • Travel management companies (TMCs)
    • Travel agencies and agents
    • Hajj and Umrah operators
  7. The application must be made by a person designated by the Organization to register and administer the Account and act as the Program Administrator.
  8. The Program Administrator must complete the application for Membership online.
  9. The Program Administrator must be a person authorized to provide the Trade License of the Organization and upload a copy of it.
  10. The Program Administrator must have the authority from the necessary persons or Travelers to book and manage travel on their behalf and must notify them of, and confirm that they have agreed to, these Conditions, the Privacy Policy, and Conditions of Carriage.
  11. The Travelers must agree to give permission for information on their travel to be reported back to the Program Administrators.
  12. The Program Administrators will be authorized to redeem any Business Rewards Points accrued on the Account.
  13. There is no fee to become a Member of Emirates Business Rewards.
  14. There is no limit on the number of Travelers allowed per Account.
  15. Travelers must be directly employed or contracted by the Organization.
  16. Travelers must be legal adults in their country of residence; they need not reside in the country where the Account is registered.
  17. Once the Membership application is approved, the Organization will receive a unique Emirates Business Rewards Membership Number.

D. Account Management

  1. The Program Administrators and Employees linked to the Emirates Business Rewards Account must log in using their registered email address and password.
  2. If the Program Administrators and Employees linked to the Emirates Business Rewards Account are also Skywards Members, they can use either their registered email address or their Skywards membership number and password to log in.
  3. Guest Travelers will not be given access to the Emirates Business Rewards Account.
  4. Only the Program Administrators can access the Overview page by logging in to their Emirates Business Rewards Account.
  5. It is the responsibility of the Program Administrators to complete the Emirates Business Rewards account profile.
  6. If the profile is incomplete, Emirates may contact the Program Administrators to complete the profile.
  7. The Program Administrators must use the Bookings tab to book and manage travel for their Organization.
  8. All travel requests sent to Program Administrators must be paid within 72 hours of the booking. Bookings that are not paid within 72 hours will be canceled.
  9. Program Administrators can book and manage travel for themselves as well as for other Travelers for the Organization.
  10. Program Administrators will have a list of all Program Administrators and Travelers, including Employees who are linked to the Account and Guest Travelers.
  11. It is the Program Administrators' responsibility to notify Travelers of these Conditions, the Privacy Policy, and the Conditions of Carriage and confirm that the Travelers have agreed to them.
  12. Program Administrators can upgrade, manage, or cancel upcoming bookings, including bookings made and paid for by Travelers.
  13. Employees who are linked to the Emirates Business Rewards Account can book and manage travel for themselves as well as for other Travelers.
  14. Employees can only book travel for other Travelers when they are booking travel for themselves on the same flight.
  15. In this case, it is the booking Employees' responsibility to notify other Travelers of these Conditions, the Privacy Policy, and the Conditions of Carriage and confirm that the Travelers have agreed to them.
  16. Employees will not have access to the list of Program Administrators and Travelers.
  17. An Emirates Business Rewards Account can have up to 5 Program Administrators.
  18. Program Administrators can invite Employees of the Organization to join the Emirates Business Rewards Account to book and manage travel for themselves.
  19. Invitations are valid for 7 days, after which they will expire. Program Administrators can resend invitations within 7 days and once they expire.
  20. Program Administrators can add Guest Travelers to the Account to facilitate making bookings.
  21. Program Administrators can add or remove other Program Administrators, Employees, and Guest Travelers.
  22. It is the responsibility of the Program Administrators to remove any Program Administrators, Employees, or Guest Travelers who are no longer associated with the Organization.
  23. Employees who are linked to the Account can remove themselves if they are no longer associated to the Organization.
  24. Program Administrators must use the Account tab to keep Account information up to date.
  25. The Organization name, Trade License number or equivalent, and country of operation cannot be edited by the Program Administrators. If these details need to be changed, a written request must be submitted to Us on the Organization’s letter head, signed by the Program Administrators.
  26. Address, contact numbers, trade license documentation, and other general information can be updated from the Accounts page.
  27. Correspondence from Us to You will be sent to the email address provided on the application.
  28. We will not be responsible for misdirected mail.
  29. Program Administrators may terminate an Organization's Membership by clicking on “Delete this Emirates Business Rewards account." Any such termination will result in a loss of all accrued Business Reward Points.
  30. Program Administrators can review travel activity by clicking on the Reports tab.
  31. Where applicable, activities on the Reports page will include accruals on Eligible Accrual Flights or with Partners, as well as redemptions for Dynamic Rewards Flights and Upgrades.
  32. Total Spending and Cash Saved values on the reports are in USD and exclude taxes and other industry partner charges (which are not included in Points accrual). The values are indicative and may be different from the actual cash spent or saved.
  33. Tickets eligible to accrue Points are categorized under Regular Fares. Tickets that are not eligible to accrue Points will be categorized under Corporate Fares.
  34. All Account activity conducted by the Program Administrator shall be viewed as being conducted on behalf of the Member, Employees, and Travelers; the Member shall be responsible for any breach of the Program Rules by the Program Administrators, Employees, or Travelers.

E. Earning Business Rewards Points

  1. Only Organizations registered with the Emirates Business Rewards Program and having valid Emirates Business Rewards numbers are eligible to earn Business Rewards Points.
  2. Organizations are eligible to earn Business Rewards Points only after registration for the Program has been completed.
  3. Program Administrators and Employees must give the correct Business Rewards Number at the time of booking.
  4. The Organization will not earn any Business Rewards Points if the Membership number quoted at the time of booking is incorrect or incomplete.
  5. The Business Rewards account of the Member will earn 1 Business Rewards Point for each USD 1 spent on the base airfare and carrier-imposed charges but not on taxes, service fees, or any other industry partner charges (which are not included in Points accrual). Points earned may vary due to Our currency conversion rates.
  6. Members are eligible to earn Business Rewards Points when the ticket meets each of the following conditions:
    I. The flight is booked by logging in to the Emirates Business Rewards account, or via an Emirates Contact Center, an Emirates Ticket Office, or Your preferred travel agent; and
    II. The ticket is issued on an Emirates document (whose 13-digit ticket number begins with 176) and the ticket is on an Emirates-marketed flight (the flight number has the designator EK) and is operated by Emirates (all three conditions must be met); and
    III. The airfare purchased is offered to the general public or is offered under Emirates’ marine or missionary fare programs.
  7. Business Rewards Points can only be earned on Eligible Accrual flights by an Employee or a Traveler. Business Rewards Points will be earned according to the class of travel booked, paid for, and ticketed, not the class of travel actually flown. The Employee or Traveler must actually travel in order for the Member to qualify for Business Rewards Points, which will only be credited for sectors actually flown.
  8. Any Travelers (including Employees or Guest Travelers) who are Skywards Members will also earn Skywards Miles and Tier Miles as per Emirates Skywards Program Rules.
  9. Business Rewards Points will not be awarded on:
    • Any other segment of the ticket flown other than what is defined as an Eligible Accrual flight;
    • Corporate fares or any other formally negotiated fares;
    • Student fares;
    • Special Industry Bookings (AD/ID bookings, airline employee discounted tickets);
    • Group fares;
    • Emirates Skywards Reward flights;
    • Emirates Business Rewards redemption flights. If the booking is a Dynamic Reward Upgrade, Business Reward Points will be credited on the part of the booking that has been paid for, but not on the upgraded sector;
    • Flights paid for by Emirates;
  10. Business Rewards Points cannot be purchased.
  11. Details of the Business Rewards Points earned by Your Organization can be viewed in Your Business Rewards Account.
  12. Business Rewards Points will be credited to Your Account 14 to 30 days after the date of each flight sector in the itinerary. While We will endeavor to credit Business Rewards Points within the timescales specified, We will not be responsible for any delay in crediting Business Rewards Points to Your Account.
  13. Business Rewards Points cannot be combined with or added to any other Emirates rewards programs or promotions, personal or otherwise.
  14. Unless otherwise agreed by Emirates in writing, You will not be able to earn further Business Rewards Points if:
    • You merge with, acquire, or are acquired by another business, in which case You must redeem Your Business Rewards Points within 3 months of Your change of status; or
    • You go into liquidation, receivership, or administration, in which case You will not be able to redeem Your Business Rewards Points;
  15. Requests for retrospective accrual of Business Rewards Points must be made online by logging in to the Account within 120 days of the date of travel of the missing flight sector and completing the Missing Points form. We may require You to send to Us proof of travel in case of a dispute with regard to Your entitlement to Business Rewards Points.
  16. Claims for missing Points will be reviewed and, where valid, Business Rewards Points will be credited to the Account. All applications for retrospective credit of Business Rewards Points will be processed and accepted at Emirates’ sole discretion.
  17. Disputes regarding Business Rewards Points should be directed to Emirates Customer Affairs via email (customer.affairs@emirates.com).
  18. Business Rewards Points expire 2 years from the date on which the eligible accrual flight is taken. Points will be removed from the Account once per year, on the last day of the month that is the anniversary of the joining month.
  19. However, we may at Our sole discretion impose such time limit for the validity of the redemption of Business Rewards Points as We deem appropriate.

F. Redeeming Business Rewards Points–General

  1. Business Reward Points can only be redeemed by Program Administrators. Dynamic Reward Flights and Upgrades can be booked for anyone designated by the Program Administrators.
  2. To redeem a flight using Business Rewards Points, Program Administrators must log in to their Business Rewards account using their registered email address and password.
  3. Business Reward Points can be redeemed for Dynamic Reward Flights and Upgrades only on Eligible Rewards flights. We reserve the right to exclude certain fare types for Dynamic Reward Flights and Upgrades.
  4. Dynamic Reward Flights and Upgrades may not be redeemed until You have sufficient Points in Your Account.
  5. Details of Your redemption transactions will be documented in Your Account as soon as the travel is booked. Business Rewards Points will be deducted immediately on the purchase of a Reward.
  6. Risk (for example unauthorized or fraudulent redemption) associated with Business Rewards Points passes to You as soon as Business Rewards Points are credited to Your Account.
  7. We are not liable for unauthorized or fraudulent use of Your Account or redemptions.
  8. Program Administrators must pay any taxes, fees, and carrier-imposed surcharges for all Dynamic Reward Flights or Upgrades using a credit card or any other payment method available on the Emirates Website.
  9. Dynamic Reward Flights and Upgrade bookings are subject to availability and cannot be waitlisted.
  10. Business Rewards Points may not be sold, bartered, or purchased; any such transaction will be made void as will any transactions that have been altered or if a person other than the person named on the transaction (booking) attempts to use it. Transactions that are deemed void shall result in the forfeiture of the corresponding Business Reward Points. Emirates may at its sole discretion terminate Membership or cancel all Your accumulated Business Rewards Points to date as a result of any voided transaction.
  11. We reserve the right to limit the number of seats made available for Dynamic Reward Flights or Upgrades.
  12. Rewards consisting of goods or services offered by Partners or Suppliers shall also be subject to the relevant terms and conditions of the Partners or Suppliers.
  13. All flight schedules remain subject to change without notice.
  14. Business Reward Points are not transferable in any way from one Business Rewards account to another or from one Business Rewards account to a Skywards account.
  15. Business Reward Points cannot be combined with Skywards Miles to redeem a Dynamic Reward Flight or Upgrade.
  16. Business Reward Points and Dynamic Reward Flights and Upgrades do not have any cash value and neither Business Reward Points nor Dynamic Reward Flights and Upgrades are convertible into cash.
  17. We or Our Partners may from time to time impose a period during which no rewards will be available. Rewards may not be available on all flights at all times. We may withdraw, replace, or substitute rewards at any time without notice.
  18. TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ACCEPT NO LIABILITY WITH RESPECT TO DEATH OR INJURY OR CONSEQUENTIAL LOSS OR DAMAGES ARISING FROM, OR IN CONNECTION WITH, THE SUPPLY OF A REWARD (OTHER THAN THE USE OF A REWARD TICKET) OR FOR THE LOSS, THEFT, OR DESTRUCTION OF A REWARD.
  19. SAVE AS MAY NOT BE EXCLUDED BY LAW, NO WARRANTY WHATSOEVER (WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED) IS GIVEN WITH RESPECT TO REWARDS PROVIDED UNDER THE PROGRAM. IN PARTICULAR, NO WARRANTY IS GIVEN WITH RESPECT TO THE QUALITY OF REWARDS OR THEIR SUITABILITY FOR ANY PURPOSE.
  20. TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW AND SUBJECT TO THESE CONDITIONS, OUR LIABILITY OR A PARTNER’S LIABILITY WITH RESPECT TO FLIGHTS, GOODS, OR SERVICES THAT ARE THE SUBJECT OF A REWARD IS LIMITED TO ANY ONE OR MORE OF THE FOLLOWING: (a) REPLACEMENT OF THE GOODS OR SUPPLY OF EQUIVALENT GOODS; (b) REPAIR OF THE GOODS; (c) REPAYMENT OF THE COSTS OF REPLACING THE GOODS OR OF ACQUIRING EQUIVALENT GOODS, AND, IN THE CASE OF SERVICES OR FLIGHTS, HAVING THE SERVICE OR FLIGHT SUPPLIED AGAIN, AT OUR OPTION OR THE OPTION OF THE PARTNER NOMINATED TO SUPPLY THE FLIGHT, GOODS, OR SERVICES, AS THE CASE MAY BE.

G. Dynamic Reward Flights

  1. Dynamic Reward Flights for travel are subject to the Conditions of Carriage, fare rules, and the Business Rewards Program Rules.
  2. Dynamic Reward Flights must be purchased using Business Rewards Points.
  3. Dynamic Reward Flights are available only on Eligible Reward flights. We reserve the right to exclude certain fare types from eligibility for Dynamic Reward Flights and Upgrades. A Dynamic Reward ticket cannot be endorsed or transferred to a carrier other than Emirates.
  4. The number of Points you need for a Dynamic Reward Flight depends on the fare on that day and the fare type chosen by the Program Administrator. Points values for Reward Flights are not fixed. The number of Points needed for a Dynamic Reward Flight will be shown on the booking page when You are logged in to Your Emirates Business Rewards account.
  5. All Dynamic Reward Flights shall be issued as electronic tickets and are subject to the usual taxes, fees, charges, and surcharges associated with travel, including (but not limited to) airport departure tax, customs fines, immigration fees, airport charges, customer user fees, fuel surcharges, security and insurance surcharges, and all other incidental fees or taxes charged by any person or relevant authority or body for which You are directly liable and responsible. Business Rewards Points cannot be used to pay these charges.
  6. All Dynamic Reward Flights must be completed within 12 months of the date of ticket issue, or within such time as permitted by the rules of the fare selected.
  7. Dynamic Reward Flights cannot be upgraded using Skywards Miles.
  8. Prior to travel of the first flight sector, Dynamic Reward Flights may only be canceled and refunded, if allowed by the rules of the commercial fare selected, subject to an administration fee.
  9. Once travel has commenced, Emirates will not refund any Points to Your Account and will only refund taxes and surcharges, minus an administration fee.
  10. Any Points credited back to Your Account after refunding a Dynamic Reward Flight will carry their original expiration date. Points that have expired before the refund was requested will not be credited back to your account. Any Business Rewards Points that have expired will not be credited back to Your Account.
  11. After the first sector of any Dynamic Reward Flight has been flown, changes to the remaining sectors may be permitted, subject to the fare rules of the ticket, the availability and capacity of the flight/route, and additional taxes and surcharges which may apply.
  12. Name changes are not permitted to a Dynamic Reward Flight.
  13. It is the responsibility of the Traveler to ensure that he or she has a valid passport, visas, health certificates, and all other travel documentation required for the travel undertaken. A failure to travel with the correct documentation could result in the Traveler being refused travel or entry to the country of their destination or stopover, or the Traveler may be subject to deportation or incarceration. In such circumstances, You will be solely responsible for any cost, loss, or damage incurred by the Travelers or by Us (or our agents or servants).

H. Dynamic Reward Upgrades

  1. All bookings must have a Business Rewards membership number associated with them to be eligible for Dynamic Reward Upgrades.
  2. Dynamic Reward Upgrades are only available on Eligible Reward flights. We reserve the right to exclude certain fare types for Dynamic Reward Upgrades. A Dynamic Reward Upgrade ticket cannot be endorsed or transferred to a carrier other than Emirates. All ticketing and fare rules applicable to the original ticket must be observed at all times.
  3. The table shows the eligibility criteria for a Dynamic Reward Upgrade:

  4. Dynamic Reward Upgrades must be booked at least six hours prior to departure; only Dynamic Reward Upgrades that are booked more than 48 hours prior to departure will be eligible for Chauffeur-drive services, seating requests, or special meal services.
  5. Certain types of discounted tickets, AD/ID tickets, staff tickets, and rebate tickets are not eligible for Dynamic Reward Upgrades using Business Reward Points.
  6. Dynamic Reward tickets in Economy can be upgraded to either Business or First Class using Business Reward Points so long as the Dynamic Reward Flight ticket falls within the Flex Plus, Flex, or Saver fare types.
  7. Dynamic Reward Upgrades must be booked online by a Program Administrator by logging in to the Member's Business Rewards Account and clicking on the Upgrade’ icon in the Bookings tab.
  8. All Dynamic Reward Upgrades are subject to booking class availability and cannot be guaranteed.
  9. Dynamic Reward Upgrades may be subject to administration fees, additional taxes, or surcharges payable at the time of booking using any of the payment methods available on emirates.com. Business Reward Points cannot be used to cover these charges.
  10. If more than one passenger is traveling on an original booking, any requests to purchase Dynamic Reward Upgrades will apply to all passengers on that booking and Business Reward Points will be debited accordingly.
  11. Dynamic Reward Upgrades are permitted from Economy Class to Business Class, or from Economy to First or Business Class to First Class, subject to aircraft configuration and the availability of reward seats in the higher class cabin.
  12. Once the Dynamic Reward Upgrade is processed, You are entitled to the baggage allowance and check-in, and lounge facilities applicable to the higher class of travel.
  13. Once the Dynamic Reward Upgrade is processed, if there are any subsequent changes to the travel date, utilization of the Reward upgrade will be subject to availability and capacity of the new flight. Additional taxes and surcharges may apply. You must contact your local Emirates Ticket Office or Emirates Contact Center to process any changes. If the reward upgrade is unavailable on the new flight, the applicable Business Reward Points will be credited back to Your Account, and any taxes and surcharges will be refunded.
  14. Dynamic Reward Upgrades may be canceled prior to travel of the first sector of Your ticket. You understand that any cancellation by you will be subject to an administration fee as per the applicable fare rules of the upgraded ticket. The applicable Business Reward Points will be credited back to your account, along with the refund of any unused taxes and surcharges; expired Points will not be credited back to your account. Business Reward Points will not be refunded into Your Account for any upgraded flights that were booked but that the Traveler did not fly.

I. Partners

  1. A Member may earn Business Rewards Points using the qualifying services of Partners on or after the Member's joining date and after the joining date of the Partner.
  2. We may at any time and without prior notice to Members withdraw, limit, modify, or cancel any rewards or Points supplied by Partners. It is the responsibility of the Member to verify the Organization's eligibility to earn and redeem Points with Partners.
  3. When a Member selects services or goods from a Partner, the contract for such services or goods is between the Member and Partner. Accordingly, the terms and conditions of the Partner shall apply to the purchase of the goods or services selected by the Member. Some of these terms and conditions are mentioned on the Emirates Website but We strongly recommend that You read the terms and conditions and also checks with the Partner prior to selecting the goods or services. By accepting the Partner's offer, the Member is agreeing to abide by the terms and conditions of the purchase imposed by the Partner, including payment of all amounts when due (if any) and compliance with all rules and restrictions regarding booking, availability, cancellation, and refunds with respect to the services or goods. TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ACCEPT NO LIABILITY WHATSOEVER WITH RESPECT TO REWARDS SUPPLIED BY PARTNERS IN CONNECTION WITH A PARTNER'S REFUSAL TO SUPPLY A REWARD TO THE MEMBER. The rights, if any, that a Member may have in connection with a reward are solely against the Partner supplying that reward. Subject to this clause, all rewards supplied to a Member will be subject exclusively to the terms and conditions of the Partners supplying the reward.

J. Data Protection

  1. Emirates takes its responsibilities regarding the protection of individuals' personal data very seriously. As long as the Organization remains a Member, We are likely to process personal data (including sensitive personal data) relating to Program Administrators, Travelers, and other persons who use services purchased using Business Rewards Points.
  2. Our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Conditions, applies to all personal data that We collect and process in connection with the participation of the Organization in the Emirates Business Rewards program.
  3. In addition to the matters set out in Our Privacy Policy, the personal data provided will be processed, including using third-party data processors, for the following purposes:
    • Processing the application of the Organization for the Emirates Business Rewards program membership;
    • Managing and administering the Program;
    • Honoring redemptions of Points for Dynamic Reward Flights and Upgrades;
    • Making changes to existing redemptions or developing new redemption channels and propositions;
    • Administering payment systems, including account, audit, billing, and credit or other payment card verification and screening;
    • Testing, developing, and maintaining the Program;
    • Communicating with Program Administrators, Travelers, or other persons who use services purchased using Business Rewards Points;
    • Conducting customer satisfaction surveys, research, and statistical and market analysis;
    • Developing new services;
    • Marketing and market research purposes;
    • For other purposes, in a manner that individuals may authorize from time to time;
    • Complying with law and legal requirements, including disclosures to the police, immigration, and customs authorities;
    • Sending you communications about promotions, services, products, and facilities offered by Us;
    • Disclosing to a Partner to assist that Partner in the planning and development of the Program;
    • By Partners, sending you separate communications about services, products, and facilities offered by that Partner (unless You indicate otherwise).
  4. It is the Program Administrators' responsibility to notify in writing other Program Administrators, Travelers, or other persons who use services purchased using Business Rewards Points about the following:
    • The personal data collected by Us;
    • The manner in which personal data may be processed, used, and disclosed by Us;
    • The personal data may be held for processing in countries that may not have adequate data protection laws or regulations;
  5. It is the Program Administrators' responsibility to obtain the consent of every person whose personal data is provided to Us with regard to Our use in accordance with these terms prior to granting Us access to such personal data.
  6. When making a booking on behalf of Travelers or any other person, we may rely on the authority of the Program Administrators.
  7. The consent given by a person will continue in effect unless and until the person withdraws the consent by notice in writing to an Emirates Contact Center. Withdrawal of consent may mean that certain services may no longer be provided to the person, and also entitles Us to terminate or alter Membership in the Program immediately.
  8. A person may obtain a copy of his or her personal data upon making a written request and upon paying Us reasonable costs (if any) of providing that information. The person may request Us to correct or delete any information that is not accurate, complete, or up to date at no charge to the person.

K. Termination

  1. Program Administrators can terminate Membership of the Organization in the Emirates Business Rewards program.
  2. The Account can be terminated by logging on to Emirates Business Rewards and selecting "Delete this Emirates Business Rewards Account" from the Accounts tab.
  3. Termination of the Account by Program Administrators will result in forfeiture of unused Business Rewards Points, and the Organization will no longer be able to redeem these Points.
  4. Termination may not affect any continuing obligations the Organization may have under these conditions.
  5. Emirates reserves the right to suspend or terminate the right to earn or redeem Points or suspend or terminate the Account at any time for any reason. We shall notify the Program Administrators and Travelers of such suspension or termination using these individuals' registered email.
  6. Supplying falsified information to Emirates will lead to termination of the Account.
  7. Incomplete profiles, including missing Trade License numbers or equivalent and Trade License copy or equivalent, can lead to suspension of the Account. The Account may be reactivated at Our discretion once the missing information has been provided.
  8. Any kind of misuse or actions that are against Program policy or these Conditions will lead to termination of the Account. This includes but is not limited to misuse on the part of Program Administrators, Travelers or any third-party persons or entities associated with the Account.
  9. Program Administrators may be contacted by Emirates to authenticate information or provide additional information on a specified topic. Failure to provide the required information may lead to Account suspension or termination.
  10. If Your Account does not record any accrual or redemption activity for twenty-four (24) consecutive months, it will be terminated and any unused Points will be forfeited.

L. Limitation of Liability & Indemnification

  1. TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, EMIRATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE TO YOU OR ANY OTHER PERSON FOR ANY LOSS OR DAMAGE, WHETHER DIRECT OR INDIRECT, RESULTING FROM TERMINATION OR CHANGE OF OR TO EMIRATES BUSINESS REWARDS OR ANY OF THE FACILITIES, BENEFITS, OR ARRANGEMENTS THAT ARE MADE AVAILABLE TO A PERSON, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MEMBERS, PROGRAM ADMINISTRATORS, OR TRAVELERS AS A RESULT OF THE EMIRATES BUSINESS REWARDS PROGRAM.
  2. Emirates Business Rewards reserves the right to disqualify a Member from further participation in the Emirates Business Rewards program, to cancel all accumulated Business Rewards Points, and to seek compensation for the utilization of products or services purchased with Points if, in Emirates’ sole judgement, the Program Administrators, Travelers, or any other persons using a product or service purchased with Points has engaged in willful misconduct or breached any of the rules governing the Emirates Business Rewards program, including but not limited to the fraudulent acquisition, sale, or abuse of Points or acquisition, sale, or abuse of redemption benefits.
  3. Some services offered to Members are provided by third-party Suppliers or Partners. All Members taking advantage of these services will be entering into a legal relationship with the Supplier or Partner. TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, EMIRATES EXCLUDES ALL LIABILITY TO ANY MEMBER OR OTHER ENTITY OR PERSON OF ANY NATURE WITH RESPECT TO ANY NEGLIGENCE, WILLFUL MISCONDUCT, POOR SERVICE, OR OTHER BREACH OF OBLIGATION ARISING FROM THE PROVISION OR FAILURE TO PROVIDE THE SERVICES BY OR ON BEHALF OF A SUPPLIER OR PARTNER ARISING OUT OF THAT LEGAL RELATIONSHIP WITH THE SUPPLIER OR PARTNER.
  4. The information published on the Website may be incomplete or include inaccuracies or typographical errors. We do not represent or warrant that access to the Website will be uninterrupted or that there will be no failures, errors or omissions, or loss of transmitted information, or that no viruses will be transmitted on the Website. We make no representations about the suitability of the information, products, and services contained on the Website for any purpose. All such information, products, and services are provided as is, without warranty of any kind. We hereby disclaim all warranties and conditions with regard to the information, products, and services, including all implied warranties and conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and noninfringement

IN NO EVENT SHALL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR IN ANY WAY CONNECTED WITH THE USE OF THE WEBSITE OR WITH THE DELAY OR INABILITY TO USE THE WEBSITE, OR FOR ANY INFORMATION, PRODUCTS, OR SERVICES OBTAINED THROUGH THE WEBSITE, OR OTHERWISE ARISING OUT OF THE USE OF THE WEBSITE, WHETHER BASED ON CONTRACT, TORT, STRICT LIABILITY, OR OTHERWISE.

You agree to indemnify Us, Our employees, agents, and representatives and to hold Us and them harmless from and against any and all claims and liabilities (including legal costs) that may arise from your submissions to the Website, from your use of material obtained through the Website, from your breach of these Conditions, or from any such acts arising through your use of the Website. Emirates Skywards reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to deny access to the Website or any portion of it without notice or liability.
  8. SUBJECT TO APPLICABLE INTERNATIONAL LAW, WE ACCEPT NO LIABILITY WITH RESPECT TO PERSONS TRAVELING ON REWARD TICKETS OTHER THAN AS SET OUT IN THE CONDITIONS OF CARRIAGE AND TRAVEL DOCUMENTS.

M. Miscellaneous

  1. The Organization’s use of its Membership after any change or variation to these conditions will be deemed to be acceptance by the Organization of that change or variation.
  2. Any notice to be given to the Organization under these Conditions will be deemed to have been delivered if it is posted by prepaid post to the Organization at the address provided by the Organization for the purpose of Emirates Business Rewards.
  3. These Conditions are governed by the laws of the Emirate of Dubai and any proceeding with respect to or in connection with Emirates Business Rewards must be brought in that jurisdiction. Membership, including eligibility for Membership and any Business Rewards Points and redemptions, is subject to any applicable laws and regulations, including all applicable resolutions of the International Air Transport Association.
  4. Emirates Business Rewards does not operate (or will cease to operate) in a jurisdiction in which it would be prohibited (or become prohibited) by any relevant law or governmental direction.
  5. Reasonable care has been taken to ensure that information contained in these Conditions and in any publications and advertisements in connection with Emirates is accurate, but Emirates Business Rewards will not accept any liability with respect to any errors or omissions in any information, whether written or verbal.
  6. Any part of these Conditions that is unenforceable for any reason shall be considered capable of being cut out so as not to affect the remainder of these Conditions in any way. Emirates shall not be required to provide any service or otherwise act in pursuance of these Conditions if to do so would be contrary to law.
  7. Persons, including but not limited to Program Administrators and Travelers, may be required to provide documentation at check-in to establish the person’s identity and their association with the Membership of the Organization in Emirates Business Rewards. If a person fails to comply with this requirement, Emirates Business Rewards reserves the right to refuse carriage.
