Stansted Airport is conveniently located in Essex, 42 miles (68km) northeast of Central London. Getting there is easy. Just take the Stansted Express from London Liverpool Street Station and settle in for a 47-minute ride. If you’re driving, take the M11 Motorway. Remember to use Junction 8a if you’re coming from London and Junction 8 from Cambridge. From Stansted Airport to London is just as quick, and you can pre-book a seat on the Airport Bus Express or National Express before taking your flight.
