The number of Skywards Miles you will earn depends on whether you are travelling on a domestic or an international flight, the class of travel, fare type and the distance flown:
- Economy Class: 1 Skywards Mile per mile flown
- Prestige Class: up to 1.35 Skywards Miles per mile flown
- First Class: up to 2 Skywards Miles per mile flown

Spend Skywards Miles on Korean Air to over 123 destinations starting at 8,000 Miles.
To book a flight using Skywards Miles with Korean Air, click on Spend now, choose Book Classic Rewards Flight and select search partner flights only. You will then be able to check the availability of flights and use your Miles at checkout.
The table below shows the number of Skywards Miles you need for a one-way reward flight. You’ll need twice the number of Miles for a return reward flight.

Earning Miles
- To claim missing Skywards Miles for flights completed within the last six months, provide your flight details using Live Chat(Opens link in the same tab).
- Miles can only be earned on Korean Air operated flights and are not valid on codeshare flights.
- The following classes are not eligible to earn Miles:
- International flights: A, O, X, Q, T, G, N, S, U, V
- Domestic flights: A, O, X, Q, T, G, N, U, V, L, K
Spending Miles
- Reward tickets are subject to availability.
- Reward tickets are only valid on Korean Air operated flights with the flight code KE.
- Miles needed as stated is for direct flights only. Where no direct service is operated two or more rewards may be required.
- Reward flights can be booked for both one-way and round-trip travel.
- Reward ticket coupons cannot be used out of sequence.
- All flights must be confirmed at the time of redemption. Waitlists are not permitted.
- Reward tickets are valid for 12 months from the original ticketed date with a maximum stay of three months.
- Reward values are exclusive of taxes, fuel surcharge and other charges. These need to be paid separately.
- Children and infants occupying a seat and travelling on reward tickets will need to redeem the same number of Miles as that of an adult member. Infant rewards are not permitted.
