Emirates Terminal 3 is located near the center of Dubai and has excellent transportation links.

Getting to Emirates Terminal 3

Emirates Terminal 3 is located on Airport Road in Garhoud, a few kilometers from most of Dubai’s main centers. Be aware that at peak times, traffic on the main routes to and from the airport can cause delays if you are traveling by car, bus, or taxi.

Emirates Terminal 3 is also well served by public transport.

Taxis are easy to find in most areas of Dubai, and Emirates Terminal 3 also has a dedicated taxi stand at Arrivals.

The Dubai Metro Red Line stops at both Emirates Terminal 3 and Dubai Airport Terminal 1, offering a convenient link to the city. Find out more about Dubai Metro.

A number of bus routes also serve Dubai Airport. Use the Dubai Roads and Transport Authority’s journey planner (opens an external website in a new tab) to find the best route.

Inside Emirates Terminal 3

Emirates Terminal 3 is easily navigable, with clear signage and layout.

We’re making it even easier to connect through Dubai International airport, with a minimum connection time of just 60 minutes and a dedicated team of people to make sure you’re prioritized through security when you’re connecting to another flight.

Transferring to or from Emirates Terminal 3

You can easily walk between Terminal 1 and Emirates Terminal 3 when transferring between flights. The walk should take no longer than 30 minutes, but we recommend that you allow extra time to ensure you don’t miss your next flight. There are elevators and escalators to assist you.

You can also use our bus service, which connects Terminal 1 and Emirates Terminal 3 directly. Take the bus if you’ve arrived at an A gate and are departing from a C gate, or if you’ve arrived at gates C1 to C18 and are departing from an A gate. There are signs in the terminal to show you the way.

If you’re transferring to or from certain flydubai flights in Terminal 2, you can use the dedicated transfer service. For all other flights transferring through Terminal 2, you should proceed through Arrivals to collect your baggage at Baggage Claim, and then transfer to your connecting terminal using public or private transport.

For your convenience, buggies are available for transport within the terminal buildings, but not between the terminals.

Codeshare Flights

All codeshare flights not operated by Emirates and Qantas, arrive and depart from Terminal 1.
