What to do in Krabi

  • Hike the Ngon Nak Nature Trail
To the west of Krabi province, the Ngon Nak Nature Trail – otherwise known as Dragon’s Crest Mountain - is a rewarding hike through thick forest. Start at Tub Kaek Beach and venture into the spectacular Hat Noppharat Thara National Park, gradually ascending above the canopy to reach breathtaking rocky viewpoints. Look out over the bay to spot Hong Island before turning inland, where vast limestone cliffs punctuate the greenery.
  • Kayak through the mangroves
Krabi is scattered with thick mangrove forests, and you can explore these pristine natural environments on an unforgettable kayak tour. Experience a different side of the province, away from the sandy beaches and buzzing marketplaces. Spot colourful birds, monkeys and monitor lizards as you paddle through jungle canyons and steep limestone cliffs.
  • Walk the Ao Nang Monkey Trail
The Ao Nang Monkey Trail is a short path from Krabi’s Ao Nang Beach to Pai Plong Beach. The path, comprised of bamboo boardwalks and rickety bridges, weaves through a section of jungle popular with wild macaque monkeys. Spot these fascinating creatures on your hike before cooling off on a gorgeous, secluded beach.
