• Emirates spends are eligible spends made on emirates.com, emiratesholidays.com or at the Emirates Sales Office in AED currency. If spends are made in foreign currency, Miles will be earned as per the foreign currency spend category.
• Foreign currency spends are eligible spends in non AED currency.
• Domestic spends are eligible spends in AED currency. International transactions in AED currency will be classified as domestic spends.

Emirates Skywards Silver tier membership

• Infinite
  • The Emirates Skywards Silver tier membership will be awarded to the primary cardholder.
  • The Silver tier membership is valid for the lifetime of your Infinite Credit Card.
  • You will be upgraded to Emirates Skywards Silver tier membership soon after you receive your physical credit card.
  • An email confirmation of your tier membership will be sent by Emirates Skywards with instructions on how to view and download your Emirates Skywards Silver digital card.
  • If you are an existing Emirates Skywards Silver tier member, your existing tier membership will be renewed for the lifetime of your Infinite Credit Card.
  • If you are an existing Emirates Skywards Gold or Platinum tier member, your existing membership will not be affected.

• Signature:
  • You can be fast-tracked to the Emirates Skywards Silver tier membership if you spend a minimum of AED 20,000 on Eligible Spends within 60 days of the Credit Card Account opening date.
  • The primary cardholder will be eligible for this benefit. However, the spends made by the supplementary cardholders will be counted towards the Eligible Spends criteria.
  • You will be upgraded to Emirates Skywards Silver tier membership soon after meeting the Eligible Spend criteria.
  • An email confirmation of your status will be sent by Emirates Skywards with instructions on how to view and download your Emirates Skywards Silver digital card.
  • If you are an existing Emirates Skywards Silver tier member, your existing tier membership will be renewed for another 12 months.
  • If you are an existing Emirates Skywards Gold or Platinum tier member, your existing membership will not be affected.
  • For the second year onwards, you could qualify for a Silver tier membership upgrade if you spend at least AED 180,000 on Eligible Spends in the previous 12 months. This includes spending at least AED 10,000 directly on Emirates spends.

No Skywards Miles Expiry

These terms apply to HSBC Emirates Skywards Infinite and HSBC Emirates Skywards Signature Credit Cardholders. Emirates reserves the right to withdraw, amend, and/or modify these terms and conditions, including the associated offers, at any time. Unless stated to the contrary, all capitalised terms used in these terms and conditions shall have the same meaning as given to them under the Emirates Skywards Programme Rules(Opens page in the same tab), which shall apply at all times.

• Section 9 of the Emirates Skywards Programme Rules(Opens page in the same tab) sets out the standard rules and validity period applicable to all Skywards Miles, known as Standard Expiry.
• As a benefit of having either the “HSBC Emirates Skywards Infinite or HSBC Emirates Skywards Signature Credit Cards” (the “Cards”), all Skywards Miles accrued as a direct benefit of carrying out eligible transactions on a Card (as set out in HSBC Emirates Skywards Infinite Credit Card Terms and HSBC Emirates Skywards Signature Credit Card Terms available here(Opens an external website in a new tab) on (“Eligible Skywards Miles”) to the Account of a Card’s associated Primary Cardholder (being the individual to whom the applicable Card was first issued and who was the named applicant for such Card) will, upon such Eligible Skywards Miles reaching their stated date of expiry, continually and automatically renew for an additional period as long as:
  • the applicable Card remains in ‘open’ status and is not expired or been terminated or cancelled by the applicable Primary Cardholder or HSBC; and
  • the Primary Cardholder remains in good standing and compliant with the Emirates Skywards Programme Rules(Opens page in the same tab), the HSBC Emirates Skywards Signature Credit Card Terms and the HSBC Emirates Skywards Infinite Credit Card Terms (as applicable)
  • The above-described benefit being referred to hereafter as the “No Miles Expiry” benefit. Each renewal shall extend the expiry date of Eligible Skywards Miles until the Eligible Skywards Miles are redeemed.
• No Miles Expiry shall not apply to any Skywards Miles held within a Member’s Account that were earned, converted, transferred or purchased by any means other than as set out in section 2 above (including, without limitation, Skywards Miles accrued under the Emirates Skywards Everyday product), therefore such Skywards Miles shall continue to expire in accordance with the Emirates Skywards Programme Rules(Opens page in the same tab). Skywards Miles shall in all cases be subject to the rules of expiry and redemption as set out under the Emirates Skywards Programme Rules(Opens page in the same tab).
• The No Miles Expiry benefit cannot be sold or transferred to any Member and shall only apply to the applicable Primary Cardholder in each case.
• If a Card is terminated or cancelled by either the Primary Cardholder or HSBC, the No Miles Expiry benefit shall cease immediately upon such termination or cancellation and the expiry date of all Eligible Skywards Miles shall no longer renew and:
  • in the case of Eligible Skywards Miles that have not yet been subject to a first renewal in accordance with the No Miles Expiry benefit, such Eligible Skywards Miles shall expire as per their stated expiry date (being Standard Expiry) in accordance with the Emirates Skywards Programme Rules(Opens page in the same tab); and
  • in the case of Eligible Skywards Miles that have been renewed at least once in accordance with the No Miles Expiry benefit (or any other equivalent benefit under the Emirates Skywards Programme), such Eligible Skywards Miles shall have an adjusted expiry date applied and shall expire on the date that is two (2) months from the effective date of the applicable Card’s termination or cancellation.
• The No Miles Expiry benefit and these terms and conditions (including without limitation in relation to expiry) shall apply to any Eligible Skywards Miles that are pooled into a My Family Account, however such benefit shall not apply to any other portion of Skywards Miles pooled into a My Family Account and the applicable Emirates Skywards Programme Rules(Opens page in the same tab) shall apply.

Airport lounges

• • Infinite:
  • Unlimited visits for you and supplementary cardholders plus a guest to over 1,000 airport lounges a year, offered by Visa International and subject to their terms and conditions(Opens an external website in a new tab).
  • To enjoy unlimited visits, you must complete at least one international purchase with your card for a minimum value of USD 1 with your HSBC Credit Card 15 days before you travel. This doesn't apply to the first two lounge visits in the year, but later visits will be charged to your card if the condition isn't met.
  • You’ll need the new Visa Airport Companion app to access your airport lounge benefits.
• • Signature:
  • To be eligible for the 12 complimentary visits, you must complete at least one international purchase with your card for a minimum value of USD 1 with your HSBC Credit Card 15 days before you travel. This doesn't apply to the first lounge visit in the year, but later visits and visits beyond the 12 complimentary visits will be charged to your card if the condition isn't met.
  • You’ll need the new Visa Airport Companion app to access your airport lounge benefits.

Beach Club access
