Welcome bonus Skywards Miles

Welcome bonus Miles are only available to Emirates Skywards customers who have not held an Emirates credit card in the prior 24 months.

• You will not earn Skywards Miles for cash advances, balance transfers, money transfers, instalment payments, or fees/charges. Emirates Skywards reserve the right to determine whether a transaction is eligible for the purposes of earning Miles.
• Emirates spends are categorised as transactions made on emirates.com, Emirates Contact Centre or at Emirates Travel Stores.
• Skywards Miles will be credited to the primary credit cardholder's Emirates Skywards account at the end of each billing statement cycle.
• Skywards Miles earned by supplementary cardholders (authorised users) will be credited to the primary cardholder's Emirates Skywards account.
• The number of Skywards Miles earned from card spend will be displayed on the primary cardholder's monthly card statement in Emirates Skywards account.
• Where a refund is made on a card, the Skywards Miles total will be adjusted accordingly by the Bank from subsequent Miles earnings.

Emirates Silver tier membership

• As a primary Emirates Skywards Premium Credit Card holder, you will enjoy Silver tier membership for 12 months from the card account open date.
• The Silver tier membership can take up to 8 weeks from the card account opening date to be reflected.
• An email confirmation of your membership will be sent with instructions on how to view and download your digital membership card.
• If you are an existing Silver member, your tier membership will be extended for one year from the card account opening date.
• If you are an existing Gold or Platinum member, your existing tier status will not be affected.
• To retain Silver tier membership from the second year onwards, you need to spend GBP 5,000 in Non-GBP currency annually, starting from the card issuance date or card anniversary date.

Fast track to Emirates Gold tier membership

Fast Track to Gold tier membership is available to the primary cardholder of the Emirates Skywards Premium Credit Card,

• You will be awarded Gold membership for 1 year by spending a minimum of GBP 5,000 in Non-GBP spend and GBP 3,500 on Emirates flights booked via emirates.com, Emirates Sales Offices or the Emirates Contact Centre.
• To retain Gold membership, you need to spend a minimum of GBP 5,000 in Non-GBP Currency and GBP 5,000 on Emirates within twelve (12) months from the Card issuance date or Card anniversary date or qualify as per the Emirates Skywards programme rules. If you are an existing Gold member, your Gold membership will be extended for one year from the card issuance date or card anniversary date.
• If you are an existing Emirates Skywards Platinum member, your existing status will not be affected.

Complimentary access to the Emirates lounges in the UK

Complimentary access to the Emirates lounges in the UK is available to the primary cardholder of the Emirates Skywards Rewards Credit Card.

• This benefit is only available in the Emirates lounges in the following UK airports:
  • Birmingham (BHX)
  • Glasgow (GLA)
  • London Heathrow (LHR)
  • London Gatwick (LGW)
  • London Stansted (STN)
  • Manchester (MAN)
• Rewards card members can avail of two lounge access per year.
• This benefit can only be availed when flying with Emirates.
• This benefit is subject to space availability in the lounge.
• The lounge access is eligible for one year starting from the member's card joining date.
• This benefit is not eligible for cardholders holding employee tickets, industry and agent discounted tickets, reward tickets, consultant tickets and other discounted tickets.
• The member can choose to give his access to another passenger subject to the lounge access limit.
• If a member gives a lounge access to another passenger, the recipient should also be travelling with the member on the same flight, and should not be travelling on an employee ticket, industry and agent discounted ticket, reward ticket, consultant ticket and any other discounted ticket.
• If a member has used all lounge accesses for the year, he/she can still avail of the lounge by paying for the access, as per Emirates published rates per visit (please refer to lounge access rates on www.emirates.com ).
• If the benefit is not utilised within the membership year, the benefit expires and does not roll over to the next year.
• Eligible members whose departure is more than 8 hours will not be avail of this benefit early.
• The lounge only opens 3-4 hours before each Emirates flight. Members can only enter the lounge during these times.
• Please follow the below guidelines in case of delays:
  • If the delay is caused by Emirates, members are to be allowed to stay in the lounge without additional charges.
  • If it is a known delay prior to getting/purchasing access, members are to be charged as per the number of hours they intend to stay in the lounge; i.e. if exceeding four hours, they will be charged additional fees. ​

Tier Miles earning on Skywards Miles earn

An Emirates Skywards Member who, at the discretion of Emirates Skywards, satisfies the conditions set out above will be awarded Tier Miles in addition to the Skywards Miles normally earned with Emirates Skywards Credit Cards:

• One (1) Tier Mile for every four (4) Skywards Miles earned.
• The Tier Miles summary on your Emirates Skywards account may not immediately reflect the Tier Miles earned under this benefit. However, you will be notified of the Tier Miles earned within five (5) weeks of the cobranded card spend via your Emirates Skywards Miles statement on the Emirates App or online at emirates.com.
• The Emirates Skywards Member will be notified of the upgrade of their Tier status within four (4) weeks of qualification where applicable and in accordance with the Emirates Skywards Programme Rules.
• The minimum Tier Miles which can be earned by an Emirates Skywards Member for this benefit is one (1) Tier Mile.
• The maximum number of Tier Miles which can be earned by an Emirates Skywards Member in connection with this benefit is 15,000 Tier Miles per card cycle year.
• For the purposes of converting Skywards Miles into Tier Miles, the applicable Skywards Miles balance shall be rounded down to the nearest whole multiple of four (4) Skywards Miles in order to determine the corresponding Tier Miles entitlement.
• Conversion of Skywards Miles into Tier Miles shall be calculated at a transaction level. Any individual transaction which results in the earning of fewer than four (4) Skywards Miles shall be excluded from conversion and shall not qualify for Tier Miles.
• Bonus Skywards Miles issued in relation to welcome bonus Skywards Miles, signup bonus Skywards Miles, promotional Skywards bonus Miles, etc. will not qualify for the Tier Miles bonus benefit.
• When a refund is made on the Emirates Skywards Credit Card, the Skywards Miles total and Tier Miles total will be adjusted accordingly from the Emirates Skywards Member's account statement.
• Tier Miles will be processed at the time Skywards Miles are accrued from eligible card transactions and shall be applied on a pertransaction basis in accordance with Emirates Skywards' operational processes.
• Tier Miles will only be awarded to your individual Emirates Skywards account. Family, Corporate, Group or any other pooled or linked accounts are not eligible to earn Tier Miles under this benefit.
• For the purposes of this benefit, a card cycle year shall be calculated as a period of three hundred and sixtyfive (365) days commencing from the date on which the eligible cobranded card is linked to your Emirates Skywards account.
• Emirates Skywards reserves the right to amend, suspend, or withdraw this benefit at its discretion at any time, without providing any intimation.
• Emirates Skywards Programme Rules apply. All terms and conditions applicable to Membership Tier, and Tier Benefits as set out under the Emirates Skywards Programme Rules, shall apply equally to Tier Miles, Membership Tier or Tier Benefits earned in connection with this benefit.

• To take advantage of Cash+Miles promotional offers, an Emirates Skywards member must log in upfront with their personal account on emirates.com or the Emirates App, before commencing their commercial fare search and selection. • Cash+Miles promotional offers are valid on Emirates operated flights and selected connecting codeshare flights only.
