Before you travel
Please continue to check your flight status, even after you have checked in. You can also review the latest operational updates on emirates.com. Make sure your details are up to date to receive notifications and check your email for changes or cancellations to your flights before travelling to the airport.
What to do if your flight is affected
If you booked for travel between 28 February until and including 31 March 2026, you have the following options depending on your circumstances.
If your flight has been disrupted and rebooked
If your travel plans have been affected, we’ll do our best to rebook you on the next available Emirates flight. This applies to most disrupted tickets, including journeys connecting beyond Dubai.
Connecting flights
If you have a connecting flight in Dubai and any of your flights on the journey are cancelled, please do not come to the airport. You will not be able to board at your point of origin.
Please rebook your flights before coming to the airport.
Rebook on an alternative flight
To make changes to your booking, even if your flight has not been disrupted, you can rebook on another flight for travel on or before 30 April.
You can make changes on Manage Your Booking or on the Emirates App if your original travel date is within the next 72 hours. If you’re unable to make changes online, please contact us. If you booked with a travel agent, please contact them.
If you rebook your flight, please check any services you may have booked, including seat selection and dietary meals, and update your Chauffeur-drive details in Manage Your Booking for your new flight.
Request a refund
If you booked with us directly, you can request a refund of your ticket by completing the refund form. If you booked your flights with a travel agent, please contact them.

If you cannot complete your changes through Manage Your Booking or on the Emirates App, you can reach us in the following ways:
Travel to the United Kingdom: Travel requirements to the UK are changing. This includes moving from physical immigration documents to eVisas and introducing Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) which is a digital permission to travel.
If you do not need a visa to visit the UK for short stays of up to six months, you will need an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA). Check when you need an ETA to travel to the UK and apply: www.gov.uk/electronic-travel-authorisation. From 25 February 2026, eligible visitors without an ETA will not be able to board their transport and cannot legally travel to the UK.
eVisas Update My Details
EU Settlement Scheme Status
Effective 18th November 2025, Emirates flights will operate to / from Terminal 2 at Manchester Airport, replacing our current operations from Terminal 1.
Travel Guidance : To ensure a smooth departure, we recommend checking the location of Terminal 2 ahead of your travel date and allowing sufficient time to reach the check-in area.
Chauffeur-drive Service: If you have booked our Chauffeur-drive service, our local partner will contact you directly should there be any changes to your scheduled pick-up time.
Lounge Access: A new Emirates Lounge is currently under construction in Terminal 2, with an anticipated opening in mid-2026. In the meantime, eligible customers are warmly welcomed to relax and unwind in the 1903 Lounge.

From 12 October 2025, the European Union will begin introducing a new Entry/Exit System (EES) at Schengen borders. This system replaces the manual passport stamping process with a digital record of your entry and exit, including basic details and biometric data (such as fingerprints and a facial image).
If you are a non-EU/Schengen national travelling to or from the Schengen Area for a short stay (up to 90 days in any 180-day period), the EES applies to you.
When you first arrive border officers will collect your biometric data (fingerprints and facial scan) along with your passport details. This will be stored securely in the EES database.
On subsequent visits, you will not need to repeat the full process — your data will already be in the system. Your entry/exit will simply be recorded digitally.
EU citizens, Schengen residents, and those holding long-stay visas or residence permits are not affected.
Please allow extra time for border checks, especially on your first trip after the system goes live.

From 1 October, all non-Indian nationals travelling to India must complete a new e-Arrival Card before the flight.
You can submit the immigration form on the India Bureau of Immigration website from 72 hours and no later than 24 hours before the flight. There is no registration fee for the e-Arrival Card online.
If you do not complete the form before you travel, it will result in a longer immigration process at the airport.
