The ban on international flights to Thailand has been extended until 31 October 2020. Only the following passengers are allowed to enter Thailand.
All nationalities require a visa for entry except Thai nationals. Tourists and Transit passengers will not be accepted.
Certificate of Entry (COE), Fit to fly health certificate are mandatory for all passengers travelling to Thailand.
(COVID-19 RT-PCR test result and Fit to Fly health certificate should be in English or Thai language only.)
Additional required documents as below.
Exempted persons or persons who are specified, permitted or invited by the Prime Minister or Chief Official responsible for remedying the emergency situation to enter into the Kingdom pertaining to necessity, whereby conditions and timeframes may also be prescribed
Persons on diplomatic or consular missions or under international organisations, or representatives of foreign governments or agencies performing their duties in Thailand, or any other persons in international agencies, that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs gives permission pertaining to necessity, including their spouses, parents or children
Non-Thai nationals who are a spouse, parents, or children of a Thai national
Aliens who have a certificate of residence in the Kingdom, including their spouses and children
Non-Thai national who have a work permit or have been granted permission to work in the Kingdom in accordance with Thai laws, including their spouses and children, or foreign workers who have been granted exemption from the government to temporarily stay in the Kingdom and permitted to work through their employers or licensees who are permitted to bring in foreign workers to work in the Kingdom
For these three categories of passengers, the following additional documents are required for entry:
Non-Thai nationals who are students of educational establishments in Thailand approved by Thai authorities, including their parents or guardians, except for students of non-formal schools in accordance laws on private schools or of any other similar private educational establishments
Students of educational establishments in accordance with the laws on private schools categorised as international schools or universities that provide international curriculum/ normal curriculum, including the parents or guardians of such students
Non-Thai nationals who need to receive medical treatment in Thailand, including their accompanying persons, except for treatment for COVID-19. The accompanying persons shall be limited to no more than 3 persons and shall be quarantined in the same hospital, and the period of their stay in the Kingdom shall be no less than 14 days
Non-Thai nationals who have been granted permission to enter into the Kingdom under special arrangements between Thai government agencies and other countries, or persons or groups of persons who have been granted permission by the Prime minister upon the submission for consideration after the examination and review by the Ad Hoc Committee for the Consideration of the Relaxation of the Enforcement of Measures to Prevent and Suppress the Spread of the Communicable Disease Coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19), and shall comply with disease prevention measures determined by the Ad Hoc Committee
For long stay, a quota of travellers from others countries permitted to enter into the Kingdom in accordance with special arrangements will be submitted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for approval of the CCSA.
For short stay, a quota of travellers from other countries permitted to enter into the Kingdom in accordance with special arrangements will be submitted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for approval from the CCSA
