Goods and Services Tax Invoice
From 1 July 2017, the Goods and Services Tax (GST) has been introduced in India. It replaces the Service Tax, and will apply to all international travel where the ticket departure origin is India.
If your business is registered, you can request for a GST invoice for your company. Invoices would be provided for tickets booked on or after 1 July 2017.
You’ll need to make sure:
- Your business has GST registration in India
- Your business requires a tax invoice to claim the tax credits
- You booked directly with Emirates on or after 1 July 2017, with a departure origin of India
- The request is placed within five days of the ticket, electronic miscellaneous document (EMD) or multi-purpose document (MPD) that has been issued.
If you meet the above criteria, you can request a GST invoice.
If you need to request a Goods and Services Tax invoice for corporate travel, you’ll need to tell us:
- the name, address and contact number of your company or business
- the Ticket/MPD/EMD no.
- your GST number
- and your email address
Please complete the form below to request your GST invoice. We will then send your invoice by email to the same address within 30 days.
Important information
Please only submit the form once for each ticket / EMD / MPD number. Please be aware that by submitting this form, you confirm that the invoice is being request for lawful expenses incurred by the entity whose GST details are provided.
The applicant and the entity mentioned indemnify Emirates from all legal proceedings and penalty in case the details mentioned in the GST invoice request are found to be incorrect.
