For fresh, authentic and delectable seafood

Average cost: $

Cuisine: Seafood

Address: Umm Suqeim

For fresh seafood made with love, Bu Qtair is a must-visit spot. The restaurant – that used to be a seafood ‘shack’ in its early days and featured on Anthony Bourdain’s CNN show, Parts Unknown, in 2013 – is now a thriving restaurant with both indoor and outdoor seating options.

Staying true to its roots, the laid-back eatery is not categorised as fine dining, but the food is still incredible. Tuck into a tantalising selection of fresh seafood, from prawns to local fish specialities cooked in aromatic spices and served with roti or rice.
