Any trip to Venice should be complemented by stylish accommodation, and Charming House, a boutique hotel with three sites across the city, has this in abundance. Two of the hotels, DD724 and DD694, whose names are an abbreviation of their address in the Sestiere Dorsoduro neighbourhood, are placed at the very epicentre of the enchanting Venetian art district.
The third, Charming House, is found in-between Piazza San Marco and the Rialto Bridge, and is the perfect base from which to explore the unfathomable canals and streets of ancient Venice.
Despite being three separate hotels there is an arc of unity that joins them, lovingly created through the vision of owner Chiara Bocchini, who focused on contemporary Italian art and design to create luxurious living spaces and unique, individual touches. You will not find a front desk or lobby at any Charming House hotels; you are given the keys and invited to make yourself feel at home.
