Experience the movie magic of ‘Awards Season’ on Emirates ice

Dubai, UAE, 1 Mar 2024: Starting in March, Emirates customers will be able to experience the best of modern movie magic on ice, as Emirates features the most lauded and awarded new films of 2023/2024.

The newly launched ‘Award Winners’ collection on Emirates ice features the best of the best, including the multi award-winning film from Christopher Nolan, Oppenheimer starring Cillian Murphy. The film is the winner of 7 BAFTA awards, 5 Golden Globes, 8 Critics Choice and also has 13 Academy Award® nominations, with winners announced at the Los Angeles ceremony on March 10th.

Golden Globe winner Killers of the Flower Moon, the Martin Scorsese Western with Leonardo DiCaprio and Lily Gladstone was also nominated for a litany of awards, including 10 Academy Award® Nominations is now available. More of 2024’s top award-winning movies on ice include Korean romantic drama Past Lives, thrilling French legal drama Anatomy of a Fall, and box office smash hit Barbie – all nominated for Best Picture at the 96th annual Academy Awards®.

For kids and kids-at-heart, this year’s award-winning animated movies on ice include The Super Mario Bros. Movie, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse and Elemental – a moving Pixar picture that follows the elements of nature as they navigate their fundamental differences.

For those looking for award-winning action, ice features science fiction action movie The Creator, thriller The Burial, and biographical drama BlackBerry - which chronicles the rise and demise of the world's first smartphone. For those who love music in their movies, several award-winners are available on ice - Little Richard: I Am Everything, A Haunting in Venice, and Flora and Son. ice will also feature Dream Scenario – a black comedy and fantasy film starring Nicolas Cage and Priscilla - Sofia Coppola's biographical drama about the wife of Elvis Presley, which both have an array of nominations. ice also offers up to 100 documentaries to choose from, including Brazilian documentary film Retratos Fantasmas, or American documentary film After the Bite.
