What to expect on your journey
Wearing a face mask is optional in the UAE and on Emirates flights. If you are travelling from or transiting through Dubai International, the mask rules of your destination will apply throughout your journey.

Wearing a mask is optional in Dubai and the UAE. Our chauffeurs around the world will follow the safety regulations in each destination and you will also need to follow the local safety regulations. Hand sanitiser will be available in your car.
In Dubai, all Chauffeur-drive cars are cleaned at the start of every driver’s duty. Common touchpoints like buckles, handles, buttons, switches, blinds and headrests are sanitised after every trip.
Wearing a face mask at the airport is optional.
Our check-in desks are fitted with protective antimicrobial screens. You can also use our separate self check-in and bag drop kiosks.
You can also register for our biometric path and experience a contactless journey through Emirates Terminal 3 using only facial recognition. Find out more about our smart journey.
Our First Class and Business Class lounges at Dubai International airport are open with our full service.
Some lounges in Dubai and worldwide may not be open at this time. You can find out if a lounges is available at your departure airport before you travel.
In the lounge, our chairs and tables are thoroughly sanitised after each use. If you’re travelling in First Class, you can order to your table from our contactless menu by scanning a QR code with your phone. In Business Class you can help yourself to our buffet. In our quiet areas, we sanitise our recliner seats after each use. Our cleaning teams keep the washrooms thoroughly clean after each use and common touchpoints are frequently sanitised. Travel hygiene kits are available on request.
