Travel advisory – Emirates increases operations

Emirates is now operating to 137 destinations in 72 countries across the Americas, Europe, Africa, West Asia, the Middle East/GCC, the Far East and Australasia. We continue to monitor the situation and are working to offer our customers even more flight options and connections. You can check our latest flight schedules for upcoming flights and book seats to travel. Before you travel Please ensure your details are up to date to receive notifications, and continue to check your flight status before travelling to the airport. Customer advisory If your travel plans have been affected, we’ll do our best to rebook you on the next available Emirates flight. This applies to most disrupted tickets, including journeys connecting beyond Dubai. Customers booked to travel between 28 February until and including 31 May have these options: Rebook on an alternate flight. You can rebook on another flight to the same destination or another destination in the same region on or before 15 June. You can rebook your flights on emirates.com or the Emirates App using Manage my Booking. If you are unable to rebook your flights online, please contact your travel agent. If you booked with us directly, contact us. Request a refund. You can request for a refund of your ticket by completing the refund form if you booked with us directly. If you booked your flights with a travel agent, please contact them. Customers are advised to complete any flight re‑bookings before proceeding to request a refund, as any unused flights within the same itinerary will automatically be cancelled and refunded. To provide further peace of mind, customers who book flights from 2 April will also be offered one complimentary date change, across all cabins. Please note, changes must be within ticket validity, and fare difference fees may apply. What you can do online Use Manage Your Booking on emirates.com and the Emirates App to: Review any changes made to your booking Accept the new flight we’ve offered Choose an alternative flight, regardless of your original travel date. Review any services including dietary meals, selected seats and Chauffeur‑drive service Make up to nine changes under our current travel waiver (valid until 31 May) Update your contact details to receive updates If you’re unable to make changes online Some bookings may require assistance from our team. This includes situations where: Parts of your itinerary have been cancelled There are no confirmed operational flights remaining in your booking Your ticket type requires additional support If you cannot complete your changes through Manage Your Booking or on the Emirates App, you can reach us in the following ways: Call your local Emirates Contact Centre for tickets booked directly with Emirates Call your travel agent for tickets booked through a travel agency Live Chat on emirates.com Visit our retail stores worldwide Our City Check‑in points in Dubai and Ajman are temporarily closed until further notice. However, you can visit us at the following retail stores: Emirates Reservations and Ticketing desk at Terminal 3, Dubai International Airport Emirates World, Jumeirah Town Centre Emirates Group Technology Centre, near the Clock Tower, Deira Customers are requested to ensure their contact details are correct by visiting Manage Your Booking to receive updates. Travel to the European Union

The European Union has introduced a new Entry/Exit System (EES) at Schengen borders. This system replaces the manual passport stamping process with a digital record of your entry and exit, including basic details and biometric data (such as fingerprints and a facial image). If you are a non‑EU/Schengen national travelling to or from the Schengen Area for a short stay (up to 90 days in any 180‑day period), the EES applies to you. Download the Travel to Europe app and register before you fly to save time and speed up border checks. When you first arrive, border officers will collect your biometric data (fingerprints and facial scan) along with your passport details. This will be stored securely in the EES database. On subsequent visits, you will not need to repeat the full process — your data will already be in the system. Your entry/exit will simply be recorded digitally. EU citizens, Schengen residents, and those holding long‑stay visas or residence permits are not affected. Please allow extra time for border checks, especially on your first trip after the system goes live. For more information, please visit the official EU EES information page.

Travel requirements for the United Kingdom

Travel to the United Kingdom: Travel requirements to the UK are changing. This includes moving from physical immigration documents to eVisas and introducing Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) which is a digital permission to travel. If you do not need a visa to visit the UK for short stays of up to six months, you will need an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA). Check when you need an ETA to travel to the UK and apply: www.gov.uk/electronic-travel-authorisation. From 25 February 2026, eligible visitors without an ETA will not be able to board their transport and cannot legally travel to the UK. eVisas Update My Details If you hold a UK immigration status such as a visa, have status under the EU Settlement Scheme (EUSS), or an expired biometric residence permit or card, you should take action to access your eVisa before you travel and make sure your passport details are up to date: eVisas: Update your details in your UKVI account. If you already have an eVisa, keep your UKVI account up to date with your personal details and current passport or travel document to avoid potential travel delays: eVisas: access and use your online immigration status. EU Settlement Scheme Status If you have status under the EU Settlement Scheme (EUSS), you will have been issued with an eVisa. Check your details are correct and link the valid passport that you intend to use for travel, to your UK Visas & Immigration (UKVI) account to avoid delays when travelling to the UK. If you have been issued with a new passport or identity document since you originally applied to EUSS, you should update your UKVI account with the details of your new travel document: Check your eVisa is correct before you travel. From early 2026, if you have not linked your current travel document(s) to your UKVI account, you may experience inconvenience and delays when travelling to the UK as additional checks may be required to confirm your UK immigration status, and you may be denied boarding.

New e-Arrival Card for non-Indian nationals flying to India

From 1 October, all non-Indian nationals travelling to India must complete a new e-Arrival Card before the flight. You can submit the immigration form on the India Bureau of Immigration website from 72 hours and no later than 24 hours before the flight. There is no registration fee for the e-Arrival Card online. If you do not complete the form before you travel, it will result in a longer immigration process at the airport. Carriage of power banks on board

From 1 October, using or charging a power bank on board Emirates flights will no longer be permitted. Customers can still carry one power bank on board and it must be in cabin baggage. Power banks are not permitted in checked-in baggage. The power bank can have a maximum capacity of 100 watt-hour (Wh) and the capacity rating must be clearly visible on the power bank. On the aircraft, power banks cannot be stowed in the overhead lockers. Your power bank must be placed in a bag under the seat in front of you or in the seat pocket in front of you. Power banks cannot be used to charge any personal devices on board and charging the power bank is also not permitted.
