Finding your way

Emirates Terminal 3 is based near the centre of Dubai, with excellent transportation links.

Getting to Emirates Terminal 3

Emirates Terminal 3 is located on Airport Road in Garhoud, a few kilometres from most of Dubai’s main centres. Be aware that at peak times, traffic on the main routes to and from the airport can cause delays if travelling by car, bus or taxi.

Emirates Terminal 3 is also well-served by public transport.

Taxis are easy to find in most areas of Dubai, and Emirates Terminal 3 also has a dedicated taxi stand at Arrivals.

The Dubai Metro Red Line stops at both Emirates Terminal 3 and Dubai Airport Terminal 1, offering a convenient link to the city. Find out more about Dubai Metro.

A number of bus routes also serve Dubai Airport. Use the Dubai Roads and Transport Authority’s journey planner(Opens an external website in a new tab) to find the best route.

Inside Emirates Terminal 3

Emirates Terminal 3 is easily navigable, with clear signage and layout.

If you are connecting to another flight within 75 minutes, a dedicated team of people will escort you to your gate to make sure you board your next flight in time.

You can also use our bus service to move between gates in Emirates Terminal 3. Take the bus if you’ve arrived in an A gate and are departing from a C gate, or if you’ve arrived in a C gate and are departing from an A gate. There are signs directing you to the appropriate gates.

Transferring to or from Emirates Terminal 3

For your convenience there are buggies to transport you within the terminal buildings, but not between the terminals.

If you are transferring from an Emirates flight to a flydubai flight departing from Terminal 2, you have to use a dedicated bus service to the F Gates in Terminal 2. This bus ride can take up to 40 minutes.

If you are connecting on any other airline flight, another dedicated bus service will transfer you to the D gates in Terminal 1.
