Learn morePlan, book and manage your entire trip in the app. Download a mobile boarding pass to show at the airport. You can also see the menu for your flight, get travel notifications, create your entertainment playlist and more. Store your details in the app so it’s easy to book your next trip.

DUBZ Home Check-in
Book home check-inMake the most of your time and let the check‑in agents come to you, wherever you are in Dubai. Our partners, DUBZ, will send a check‑in agent to you to weigh and tag your bags. Then they’ll send a mobile boarding pass to your email to present on your phone through the airport, or they can print one out. Then they’ll take your bags to your flight so you can travel hands‑free.

At the airport
Enjoy a hands-free journey through the airport with Smart Gates and biometric facial recognition.
Biometric path
Instead of reaching for your passport or boarding pass at every point, you can walk seamlessly through the airport using biometric facial recognition.
All it takes to register is a quick photo at check-in to capture your facial data. Then you can breeze through the secure Biometric Smart Zones in Concourse B, Emirates Terminal 3 every time you’re in Dubai.
You can check-in, clear immigration, access our airport lounges in Concourse B, and board your flight at selected gates purely by facial recognition, with more points coming soon.
Together with travel notifications from the Emirates App, you can enjoy a smooth and personalised journey from check-in to the boarding gate.
Self check-in kiosks
It’s easy and quick to check-in for your flight using our self check-in kiosks.
Follow the steps on the touchscreen to complete the whole process. You can also operate the kiosk contactlessly using your mobile phone. You can view your itinerary, choose your seat and add your Emirates Skywards number at the same time.
If you’ve already checked in online, use the kiosk to check in your bags.
Smart gates
Register to use the Smart Gates at Emirates Terminal 3 and you can fly through Immigration every time you arrive and depart from Dubai.
If you’re a UAE citizen or resident, you can use your passport, boarding pass, or just your UAE ID. You can also use the Smart Gates if you're a GCC national or a visa-on-arrival visitor with a biometric passport.
Simply step into the Smart Gate, scan your ID, wait for a quick photo, and you’ll be on your way in no time.
Mobile boarding pass
There are no more printed boarding passes when you check in at Dubai International. Instead, we’ll send a mobile boarding pass to your email address or through an SMS link.
Open it up and present it on your phone through the airport, just like a paper boarding pass.
You can also download your mobile boarding pass from our self check-in kiosks and when you check in online.
On board
Use the Emirates App to make the most of your time on board.
Digital menus
Download the Emirates AppLook forward to delicious dining on board. Visit our Dining pages to view sample menus across all cabin classes or see what's being served on your upcoming flight. You can also browse through the menu in the Emirates App before you fly and open an offline version when you’re on board. Go to your Trips to see the dining and drinks options for your flight.
On board, you can check the contactless version of the menu through our OnAir Wi-Fi network. There’s no need to buy a Wi-Fi package - simply connect your device to the OnAir Wi-Fi network and open the portal in your browser. Scroll down to choose the menu for your travel class.
Ice playlist
Learn moreMake the most of your time and create your entertainment playlist in the Emirates App before you board. You can browse through thousands of movies, TV shows and albums and add them to your favourites.
Once you’re on board, sync your playlist with your TV and you’re ready to press play on your favourite entertainment. With your top picks already chosen, you can relax from the moment you take your seat.

The Emirates App baggage tracker
Use the baggage tracker in the Emirates App to see where your bags are at every step of the journey. Select your trip under ‘My trips’ and choose ‘My baggage status’.
You can follow your bag from check-in to loading on the aircraft, while it’s being transferred to a connecting flight, and see when it has arrived at your destination. Check the baggage belt number when your bags are ready to collect. And in the unlikely event it gets delayed, the tracker will give you a reference number (called a PIR) and tell you everything we’re doing to help. We also have a baggage tracker on our website.

Connections kiosk
Enjoy a smooth connection to your next flight. Use our self check-in kiosks to view your itinerary, change your seat on the flight, and send a mobile boarding pass to your email to present on your phone at the airport, or print one out. You can also get directions to your departure gate, all without having to visit our desks.
Airport transfer

You can use the self check‑in kiosk to check in for your flight, print your boarding pass, and choose your seat. You can also print your baggage tags and use the self check‑in kiosk to check in your bags and pay for any excess baggage. To get started, just follow the instructions on the screen. All you need is your passport and flight details.
Our self check‑in kiosks are available for all customers at Emirates Terminal 3 in Dubai International. There are some exceptions for customers travelling to the US, China, India and Hong Kong.

The initial rollout will be available to select First Class and Business Class passengers. Once contacted, these passengers will be asked to register. Feedback gathered from this initial rollout will help us improve this service, and later implement it for Economy Class passengers as well.
