General Programme Rules

• Skywards+ is an online subscription that can be purchased on emirates.com for an annual fee.

• The subscription fee is inclusive of taxes and all applicable charges.

• Skywards+ subscribers are entitled to additional benefits as stated on emirates.com; benefits may vary from member to member.

• The member must be logged into their Emirates Skywards account to avail and view Skywards+ benefits.

• The Skywards+ subscription and associated benefits are limited to the purchasing member and cannot be gifted or sold.

• The member's Skywards+ subscription is non-transferable and non-refundable.

• Skywards+ benefits are only applicable to flights purchased via emirates.com and will not be awarded for flights purchased through any other booking channel.

• Skywards+ benefits cannot be backdated prior to, or post-dated beyond the stated subscription period.

• No bonus accruals will be credited for flights flown outside of the Skywards+ subscription period. This also applies to retroactive claims.

• The member's Skywards+ benefits are valid during the subscription period only.

• For reissued tickets, bonus accruals will be credited for flights flown inside of the Skywards+ subscription period.

• Emirates Skywards reserves the right to refuse the Skywards+ subscription to any person and may terminate the subscription at any time.

• Emirates Skywards reserves the right to withdraw or discontinue this product at any time.

• The Skywards+ subscription will be activated within 48 hours of successful payment.

• Skywards+ benefits will only apply on flights flown after successful subscription.

• Information on Skywards+ will be accessible on emirates.com English language websites only.

• Skywards Miles must be redeemed from the member’s individual account to avail Skywards+ benefits. Miles cannot be redeemed from My Family accounts or Skysurfers accounts.

Bonus Skywards Miles

• The member must be subscribed to Skywards+ to be eligible for bonus Skywards Miles.

• Only tickets issued online through emirates.com are eligible for bonus Skywards Miles (including Cash+Miles tickets).

• The member will earn bonus Skywards Miles on flights flown within the subscription period. This also applies to reissued flight tickets.

• If a member has flown on a flight that qualifies for bonus Skywards Miles in more than one Emirates Skywards promotion, only the higher of the eligible bonuses will be credited.

• For all Economy Class fare types, the member will earn a 20% bonus on the total Skywards Miles earned on eligible flights flown within the subscription period.

• The member will qualify for the 20% bonus Skywards Miles in First Class, Business Class and Economy Class on all eligible flights marketed and operated by Emirates.

• The member’s statement will reflect the bonus Skywards Miles for the applicable flight as “Skywards+ Skywards Miles Bonus”.

• Any tickets ineligible for normal Skywards Miles accrual are also excluded from earning bonus Skywards Miles.

• The member must be logged into their Emirates Skywards account to avail Skywards+ benefits.

• No refund will be given for unutilised benefits at the end of the subscription period.

Bonus Tier Miles

• The member must be subscribed to Skywards+ to be eligible for bonus Tier Miles.

• Only tickets issued online through emirates.com are eligible for bonus Tier Miles (including Cash+Miles tickets).

• The member will earn bonus Tier Miles on flights flown within the subscription period. This also applies to reissued flight tickets.

• If a member has flown on a flight that qualifies for bonus Tier Miles in more than one Emirates Skywards promotion, only the higher of the eligible bonuses will be credited.

• For all Economy Class fare types, the member will earn a 20% bonus on the total Tier Miles earned on eligible flights flown within the subscription period.

• The member will qualify for the 20% bonus Tier Miles in First Class, Business Class and Economy Class on all eligible flights marketed and operated by Emirates.

Discounted Upgrade Rewards

• The member must be subscribed to Skywards+ to be eligible for discounted Upgrade Rewards.

• Only commercial tickets issued on emirates.com are eligible for discounted Upgrade Rewards.

• Only Upgrade Rewards issued online through emirates.com are eligible for this discount.

• To avail this discount, an Emirates Skywards member must log in to their Emirates Skywards account on either emirates.com, the Emirates mobile website, or the Emirates App prior to commencing their booking.

• Upgrade Rewards are valid on Emirates-operated flights only.

• Upgrade Rewards are restricted to certain fare brands.

• Tickets issued in Special and Saver fare brands are ineligible for discounted Upgrade Rewards.

• Upgrade Rewards are subject to seat availability.

• The member will qualify for an Upgrade Reward discount on all upgrades issued within the subscription period, even if travel date is outside the subscription period.

• If the member is eligible for multiple Upgrade Reward offers, only the higher of the eligible offers will be applicable (offers are not combinable).

• Upgrade Reward discounts associated with Skywards+ will reflect on eligible flights at the time of booking. If the member is eligible for multiple Upgrade Reward offers on the same flight, only the higher of the eligible offers will be applicable.

• The member must be logged into their Emirates Skywards account to avail Skywards+ benefits.

• Skywards Miles must be redeemed from the member’s individual account to avail this benefit. Miles cannot be redeemed from My Family accounts or Skysurfers accounts.

• Auto upgrades will be discounted if they become available during the subscription period. If a higher tactical offer is applicable at the time of auto upgrade becoming available, member will receive the highest applicable offer.

• Upgrade Reward discounts as part of Skywards+ are also applicable on auto upgrades if the auto upgrade is processed within the subscription period.

• Upgrade Rewards discounts as part of Skywards+ are not applicable to instant upgrades (at check-in) or onboard upgrades.

• Any subsequent ticket re-issue may result in voiding of the Upgrade Reward, especially in cases of flight or date changes where availability cannot be confirmed at the time of the change. In such cases, and also for ticket cancellations, Miles refunds will be subject to Emirates Skywards Programme Rules.

• Upgrade Rewards may be personalised depending on the logged-in Emirates Skywards member’s profile. Miles payment must be debited from the same logged-in Emirates Skywards member’s account for all passengers on the same booking. Additional Miles may be purchased if the current balance is insufficient.

• Any taxes, fees and carrier-imposed charges are excluded from the discounted Upgrade Reward and, where applicable, must be paid in full to avail this offer.

• Upgrade Rewards terms and conditions are subject to change and any updates will be published on this website. All other Emirates Skywards Programme Rules apply.

• All passengers in a booking must purchase the Upgrade Reward and be processed in one transaction. Purchasing only for specific passengers within a booking is not permitted.

• No refund will be given for unutilised benefits at the end of the subscription period.

Discounted Classic Rewards

• The member will qualify for a one-time discount on a Classic Reward flight on eligible Emirates flights when the ticket is purchased within the subscription period, even if the actual travel date is outside of the subscription period.

• To avail this Classic Reward discount, an Emirates Skywards member must log in to their Emirates Skywards account on the desktop version of emirates.com prior to commencing their booking.

• The discount will apply to all travellers within the same booking.

• The discount applies on return and one-way reward bookings only and does not apply to multi-city or open-jaw bookings.

• The discount cannot be refunded and may not apply if the flight details change or the flights are cancelled.

• The member must be logged into their Emirates Skywards account to avail Skywards+ benefits.

• Emirates Skywards Programme Rules for Classic Rewards apply.

Preferential Cash+Miles rates

• Skywards+ members will be offered a preferential Cash+Miles rate for eligible bookings made during the subscription period, even if the travel date is outside the subscription period.

• The preferential Cash+Miles rate will appear on the payment page when the member selects Cash+Miles as the payment option.

• The preferential Cash+Miles rate is limited to bookings issued online on emirates.com

• The member must be logged into their Emirates Skywards account to avail Skywards+ benefits.

• Skywards Miles must be redeemed from the member’s individual account to avail this benefit. Miles cannot be redeemed from My Family accounts or Skysurfers accounts.

• Emirates Skywards members must select the option with the Cash+Miles icon displayed during the booking process in order to avail any special offer at the payment page.

• Once the Cash+Miles payment option is selected, reviewed and accepted on the payment page, and in turn final payment is made to issue the ticket(s), no further adjustments in Cash+Miles rates will be permitted. Subsequent ticket re-issuance involving any additional collections of fare or fees must be made entirely with cash (or equivalent payment). Ticket cancellations will be subject to fare rules and Emirates Skywards Programme Rules on Miles refunds (if any).

How to subscribe to Skywards+

1. Skywards+ is only available to eligible Emirates Skywards members aged 18 years or older.

2. Eligible Emirates Skywards members can subscribe to Skywards+ via the link provided in the invitation email. Members will be advised of applicable fees during the subscription process.

3. Once the payment has been successfully processed, members will receive a confirmation email and receipt.

Subscription Validity

• Skywards+ benefits are valid for 12 months from the date of subscription and there will be no auto renewal. Your Emirates Skywards account will reflect details of your subscription until the end of the twelfth month, based on UAE time (GMT +4 hours).

Use of Your Personal Data

• By subscribing to Skywards+, you agree to Emirates processing your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. It is your responsibility to advise us as soon as possible if any of your personal details change via the ‘Manage my account’ section on the Emirates website.

No. You can enjoy your Skywards+ benefits in addition to the benefits and rewards related to your current tier status.

6. What happens if my tier status changes after I subscribe to Skywards+?

Your Skywards+ subscription is not dependent on your tier status. All benefits under Skywards+ will remain the same while your subscription is valid.

7. How long is a Skywards+ subscription valid for?

Skywards+ subscriptions are valid for 12 months, and will expire on the last day of the twelfth month. For example, if your subscription starts on 6 November 2019, it will expire on 30 November 2020. Auto renewal does not apply to Skywards+ subscriptions.

8. Can I cancel my Skywards+ subscription?

No. Skywards+ subscriptions are valid for 12 months from date of subscription and are non-refundable and non-transferable.

9. Can I gift my Skywards+ subscription to someone else?

No. Your Skywards+ subscription and associated benefits are for your exclusive use and cannot be transferred, gifted or sold.

10. Do my Skywards+ benefits apply on flydubai or other airlines booked via emirates.com?

Your Skywards+ benefits apply to any Emirates marketed flights (flights with an EK flight number). For example, if you're travelling on an Emirates marketed flight operated by flydubai, you can earn the bonus Skywards Miles and Tier Miles as stated in your Skywards+ subscription.

11. How do I know if Skywards+ benefits apply?

In cases where you are eligible for more than one bonus/benefit, only the higher of the two will apply.
