• My planned travel date has already passed, and I don’t have a confirmed rebooking for my next flight. What do I do?

  If you have booked directly with Emirates, please call us to rebook your flight. If you have booked through a travel agent, please contact them for rebookings.

• Emirates is operating some flights. Where are they going to? How can I book to be on one?

  We have started operating a limited number of flights, accommodating customers with earlier bookings as a priority. Passengers who have been rebooked to travel on these limited flights will be contacted directly by Emirates. 

  Please do not go to the airport unless you have been notified. 

  To rebook your travel, please call us if booked directly with Emirates or contact your travel agent, if originally booked through them.

• I have received a cancellation notification via email however on emirates.com or the Emirates app, the flight is still planned. Do I go to the airport?

  At the moment, our flights to and from Dubai have not fully resumed. If you have received an email notification informing you that your flight is cancelled, please do not leave for the airport. Flight status updates may be delayed. 

  The latest status can be found on the travel advisory on the Emirates website.

• I am booked to fly soon. How do I know whether I should go to the airport?

  We have started operating a limited number of flights, however our full flight schedule has not yet resumed. If you are booked on a flight, you will be contacted by Emirates. 

  Please do not proceed to the airport unless you have been contacted by Emirates.

• Can I reschedule my flight without any fees?

  If you are booked to travel between 28 February until and including 31 March, you can rebook on another flight to the same destination for travel on or before 30 April. If you booked directly with Emirates, please call us to reschedule, or if you booked with a travel agent, please call them. 

  Please do not try to reschedule your flight via Manage My Booking as this may show rescheduling fees.

• How can I request a refund?

  If your flight has been cancelled or you choose not to travel on a flight currently booked between 28 February until and including 31 March, you can request a refund without any fees. If your trip includes multiple legs, you can request a refund without any fees for any unused part of the journey – i.e. onward travel via Dubai.

  To process your refund, please fill out this form if you booked directly with Emirates; alternatively, if you booked via a travel agent, please contact them to process your refund.

  Please do not try to refund your flight via Manage My Booking as this may show cancellation fees.

• Customers unable to modify bookings

  If your flight has been cancelled, you will not be able to rebook online. Please contact us to rebook. If you have booked through a travel agent, please contact them.

• I have a hotel voucher but doesn’t specify which hotel. Where should I go?

  Please contact us and we will try to assist, subject to hotel availability.

• Will I still earn Skywards Miles if my flight was cancelled and you rebooked me onto another airline?

  Yes, if your Emirates flight is cancelled and Emirates arranges travel for you on another airline, you will be eligible to receive Skywards Miles and Tier Miles per your original Emirates ticket once travel is completed.
