Holi Festival

The most colourful festival in the world

Experience the thrill and excitement of colour filling the air and decorating your clothes, during India’s much-anticipated Holi Festival.

Celebrated on 4 March this year, Holi marks the end of winter and a time to gather together. The festivities, which begin with the Holika Dahan bonfire, promise to put a smile (and splatter of colour!) on everyone’s face.

Happy Holi treats from Emirates

Let the colourful festival experience begin on your plate. Between 3 and 4 March 2026 on selected India flights, we’ll be serving a Happy Holi box of our signature sweet treat gujiya, made with suji or maida and filled with sweet khoya and dried fruits.

First Class and Business Class passengers will be welcomed on board on 4 March with a refreshing Thandai drink made with almonds, fennel seeds, rose petals, spices, milk and sugar.
