Temporary restriction on carriage of non-Saudi nationals on flights from Dubai to Kingdom of Saudi Arabia effective immediately

As directed by the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Emirates will not accept non-Saudi national passengers on flights from Dubai to Saudi Arabia, with immediate effect and until further notice.

Customers holding tickets with final destinations in Saudi Arabia will not be accepted for travel at their point of origin. Exemptions are Diplomatic passport holders and Health Practitioners and their families.

We regret the inconvenience caused, and affected customers should contact their booking agent or Emirates call centre for rebooking options. To receive update notifications, customers are requested to ensure their contact details are correct by visiting Manage Your Booking.

Update on Emirates’ flights to UK

As directed by the UK government, Emirates will be suspending passenger services between Dubai and all our UK points –  Birmingham, Glasgow, London, Manchester, effective 1300hrs GMT on 29 January 2021 until further notice.

We regret the inconvenience caused, and affected customers should contact their booking agent or Emirates call centre for rebooking.

Travellers seeking to enter the UK should refer to the UK government website for the latest information on entry requirements and isolation / quarantine arrangements on arrival.

From 2 February 2021, we will operate passenger flights to Dubai from London Heathrow and Manchester. Customers seeking to leave the UK on these services should ensure that they are authorised to travel under the latest UK government rules, and meet the travel requirements of their final destination.

New requirement for Dubai arrivals from 31 Jan 2021

Effective 31 January 2021, all passengers arriving into Dubai from any point of origin (GCC countries included) must hold a negative PCR test certificate, for which the test must be taken no more than 72 hours prior to time of departure.

UAE nationals are exempt from the above, but will be required to take a PCR test on arrival at Dubai airport. 

Passengers arriving into Dubai from certain countries will be required to take another PCR test on arrival at DXB.

Passengers transiting through Dubai must ensure that they comply with the entry requirements of their respective destination country.
