HORSE RACING SPONSORSHIPS
You can find us in the biggest carnival in the region, including the Dubai World Cup.
We’re the official airline of the Dubai World Cup Carnival which culminates with the world’s richest race day – the Dubai World Cup. The carnival runs from November to March each year at the iconic Meydan Racecourse, designed to host world-class horse racing. Each night of racing features different events, and on Emirates Super Saturday, we’ve partnered with Dubai Racing Club for a stellar afternoon of prep races for many of the horses looking to compete in the Dubai World Cup day.
We’re always expanding our portfolio of races. Our sponsorship includes the Dubai World Cup, Jebel Ali races, Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan Global Arabian Horse Flat Racing Festival and Dubai Racing Carnival Races.
As title sponsor, we’ve helped the Dubai World Cup evolve into one of the world’s top racing challenges that draw the attention of millions of enthusiasts around the globe. The meeting traditionally takes place on the last Saturday of March and is one of the top 5 horse races in the world. It is not just about one of the world’s richest races, as the entire nine-race programme features the greatest names in racing and the sport’s brightest stars. Welcoming over 60,000 race-goers to the event, the Dubai World Cup sponsored by Emirates Airline captivates a global audience and is one of the region’s leading sporting and social events.
Our partnership with Godolphin has helped turn the Dubai-based horseracing stable into one of the teams to beat around the world.
Godolphin is the global horseracing entity owned by the Maktoum family, named in honour of the Godolphin Arabian, one of the three founding stallions of the modern thoroughbred. Established in 1992, the stable has a reputation of excellence and has become the world’s foremost international racing organisation, winning over 400 Group One races in 12 different countries.
As part of our sponsorship agreement with Godolphin, the Fly Better logo is displayed on Godolphin’s famous blue silks alongside staff clothing, horse blankets and transport vehicles.
