Skywards Skysurfers is the loyalty programme for young travellers. Kids between two and 17 years old can earn Skywards Miles on every Emirates and flydubai flight. They can then use their Miles to pay for their next flight or enjoy unique lifestyle benefits with our partners worldwide.
And as they earn more Miles, Skysurfers can become Silver and then Gold members, enjoying a new level of privileges as they go up the tiers.
You can easily enrol your kids to Skywards Skysurfers. Just add your child’s details to link your Emirates Skywards account. Only one registered parent or guardian can manage a Skysurfers account while it is active.
Here’s what you can expect as a Skywards Skysurfer
Earn Skywards Miles
Our Skysurfers earn Miles on every flight just like any Emirates Skywards member. You can earn Skywards Miles on flights with Emirates, flydubai and our airline partners. You also earn Tier Miles and enjoy a higher level of privileges once you achieve Silver and Gold membership status.Take off on an adventure
Once you’ve earned Miles, you can use them to keep exploring the world. You can always keep track your Miles balance. And when you’re ready to spend them on a reward, just ask the registered parent or guardian managing your account to log into their account and make a request for you.

- If you already have a My Family account, you can simply add your child as a family member. You have to be the Family Head in the My Family account, your child has to already be a Skywards Skysurfers member and you are the registered parent/guardian managing their account for you to add them.
The benefits are similar to the Emirates Skywards programme. A Skysurfer can achieve Silver or Gold status, and enjoy the extra benefits of that tier, in exactly the same way as an Emirates Skywards member. Skysurfers are not eligible for Platinum membership.
Skywards Skysurfers Silver members:
- Eligibility – Emirates Business Class Lounge access only in Dubai for self ONLY if accompanied by an adult (over 18) who is eligible to access the lounge in their own right. NO guest access allowed.
Skywards Skysurfers Gold members:
- Eligibility – Emirates Business Class Lounge access in Dubai and across the network for self + one guest who must be an adult (over 18) OR who is eligible to access the lounge in their own right.
- It’s easy to join. Parents can link their personal account with their child’s account simply by logging in to Emirates Skywards and adding their child’s details. Only one registered parent or guardian can manage a Skysurfers account while it is active.
Yes, however, this online functionality is only available to the one registered parent/guardian who is an Emirates Skywards member and have their child’s account linked to their account. Once you are logged in to your linked account on emirates.com, you can view a drop-down list that allows you to select from account numbers before making the reward booking.
Skysurfers can move up to Silver and Gold tiers in exactly the same way as Emirates Skywards members. However, there is no equivalent Platinum tier for Skysurfers.
