A restraint harness or device can be fitted to the seats to secure a passenger during the flight. We do not provide harnesses and devices on board, but you may be able to bring your own depending on the type of device. Please contact us at least 48 hours before you travel to make sure your device can be used in the approved seat location and cabin.
Passengers must be able to sit upright in the aircraft seat. If this isn’t possible, they must have an aviation-approved harness or restraint and travel with assistant who meets the following criteria:
If you are travelling alone and you are unable to sit upright and do not have a harness, we can arrange to accommodate a stretcher. Please contact us 48 hours before your flight.
If you’re travelling with a harness, you will need to fly with an assistant and complete the Medical Information form (MEDIF). Find out more about travelling with an assistant here.
We accept the following restraint harnesses or devices for travel and they can be accommodated in the specified cabin classes. All our approved devices have undergone a rigorous risk assessment to ensure they are compatible with our aircraft seats and can be safely secured with the seatbelt.
