Emirates introduces the new-generation A350 on Taipei–Dubai route

Premium Economy Class debut completes four-cabin experience in Taiwan

Taipei, Taiwan, 1 July 2026 – Emirates has introduced its new-generation Airbus 350 on the Taipei–Dubai route, bringing its highly acclaimed Premium Economy experience to Taiwan for the first time. Together with the airline's flagship A380 currently serving the route daily, passengers travelling from Taiwan can now enjoy Emirates' complete best-in-class products and world-class service – providing greater choice and flexibility for journeys via Dubai to more than 150 destinations across airline’s global network, including 42 cities in Europe such as Zurich, Barcelona, Lisbon, Budapest, and Stockholm.

From 1 July, Emirates’ A350-operated EK386/EK387 will operate daily between Taipei and Dubai. Flight EK386 departs Dubai at 08:45hrs and arrives at Taoyuan International Airport at 21:20hrs, while the return flight, EK387, departs Taipei at 00:30hrs and arrives in Dubai at 05:15hrs the following day.

The new-generation A350 operating the Taipei-Dubai route features a three-cabin configuration with 298 seats, including 32 in Business Class, 28 in Premium Economy Class, and 238 in Economy Class. Designed with Emirates' latest cabin interiors and onboard technologies, the aircraft offers a quieter cabin environment, enhanced ambient lighting, faster onboard connectivity and the upgraded ice inflight entertainment system. Every seat features a cinema-grade 4K Ultra HD display, Bluetooth connectivity for personal headphones and a 60W charging outlet, while Business Class and Premium Economy customers also benefit from wireless charging and electronic window blinds for added comfort and convenience.

Premium Economy: A Refined Travel Experience

Emirates’ Premium Economy has quickly become one of its most sought-after cabin experiences since the launch. Arranged in a 2-3-2 configuration, the cabin features soft cream leather seats and woodgrain finishing that echo the elegance of Business Class, and a 13.3-inch personal screen, creating sophisticated and relaxing onboard environment. Each seat offers 19.5 inches of width, a generous 40-inch pitch, and 8-inch recline[CG1] , complemented by a six-way adjustable headrest designed to enhance comfort on longer journeys.

Premium Economy passengers can enjoy a welcome drink, seasonal menus and a curated beverage selection, along with an exclusive amenity kit, blanket and generously sized pillow made from sustainable materials. Added privileges include the priority boarding, a dedicated check-in area at Dubai International Airport, and a generous baggage allowance of up to 35kg, all ensuring a seamless and comfortable journey from the ground to the skies.

Business Class: Fully Flat Private Suites for Productivity and Rest
The Emirates A350 Business Class cabin features a 1-2-1 configuration, offering direct aisle access and a spacious, private environment for both work and relaxation. The fully flat seat is upholstered in cream leather and equipped with a 20-inch 4K Ultra HD screen, a personal mini-bar, and wireless charging. Passengers can enjoy multi-course dining, paired with a curated selection of beverages, and complimentary Bulgari amenity kits and exclusive comfort essentials. A dedicated snack display area at the rear of the cabin also allows guests to help themselves to refreshments throughout the flight.

Economy Class: Comfort Throughout the Journey
Designed with comfort in mind, the cabin features adjustable leather headrests, generous legroom and a 13.3-inch 4K HD touchscreen running Emirates' upgraded ice inflight entertainment system, with Bluetooth connectivity and charging points for personal devices.
