Emirates enlists legend to serve up a challenge for fans at the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships 2019

DUBAI, U.A.E, 2 March 2019 – Emirates, the Official Airline of the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships, offered tennis fans a once in a lifetime experience to meet their tennis hero and legend, Roger Federer.

The “Emirates ball flight”, a fan favorite, offered tennis enthusiasts the chance to win two final match tickets and to meet the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships eventual champion. Red Emirates tennis balls were hit into the crowd by Roger Federer, winner of the ATP semifinal match. The four people who caught the ball were invited onto the centre court and one lucky fan turned the aircraft model with a ‘congratulations’ sticker underneath, winning the chance to experience today’s final match and meet the champion of the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships.
