Fuel Surcharge and Flight Insurance
All final plane ticket purchases include passenger fuel costs. We've listed our international carrier fees for flights from Japan below.
1. Fuel Surcharge from 15 May for travel originating Japan to Dubai and Flight insurance
First class, Business class, Premium Economy class and Economy class Fuel Surcharge

- Fuel surcharge price reduction and abolition conditions: n/a
- Confirm Singapore Kerosene Jet Fuel price published in April, May, July, September, November and January.
- If the average price of preceding two months after being multiplied by the average dollar-yen exchange rate (‘Average Price’) exceeds JPY 6,000 per barrel, application for approval will be submitted. If the Average Price goes below JPY 6,000, the charge will not be applied.

2. Fuel Surcharge for tickets issued for destinations beyond Dubai from 1 May
The fuel surcharges for tickets issued from 1 May are as follows. Please note that occasionally fares quoted may exclude the fuel surcharge. If you purchase your ticket at a travel agency, the following surcharges may not be included in the prices listed on the brochure and other documents.
- Target subject: All airline tickets including those for infants and children (includes ticket issued with other companies’ plates). Tickets for infants with no seat occupancy will be charged the flight insurance only and no fuel surcharge will be applied.
- Collection method: At the time of airline ticket issuance.
- If the itinerary includes a separate leg a “fuel surcharge” for the separate leg may be charged.
