Travel to Pakistan

Effective 5 October to 31 December, entry requirements for travellers to Pakistan have been revised. A mandatory negative COVID-19 RT-PCR test has to be taken within 96 hours of the travel date when coming from selected countries. For detailed information, please refer to the government website.

It is mandatory for all passengers travelling to Pakistan to download and install PASS TRACK app from Google Play Store/Apple Store and enter their personal details as required. The completed form (on the app or printed copy of uploaded information) must be presented at Check-in for verification before travel.

Passengers who do not have a smartphone shall enter their data on the web portal and will be required to present a paper print of the same at Check-in.

Passengers must upload a copy of the RT-PCR test (if done) on the app or web portal.

The following passengers are exempted from this requirement:

  • Passengers less below 12 years.
  • Disabled passengers.
  • High level international delegations.

All passengers and crew members travelling to Pakistan must fill the Health Declaration Form provided at the airport.

Travel from Pakistan

Passengers travelling from Pakistan to Dubai and beyond on Emirates will only be accepted on the flight upon presenting a negative COVID-19 PCR test result certificate at the time of check-in. Bring an official printed certificate – SMS and digital certificates are not accepted. This is mandatory regardless of local entry requirements at the passenger’s destination. The COVID-19 PCR test must be taken as per the guidelines issued by the relevant destination and must be conducted at an Emirates authorised Health Centre at the passenger’s expense.

Passengers must bring their Emirates booking and passport to the test lab.

Passengers will be required to undergo a COVID-19 PCR test on arrival in Dubai.

If you are a UAE resident flying from Pakistan to Dubai, you must first check if you are eligible to travel to the UAE on the ICA Smart Services website. This is in addition to GDRFA approval for Dubai residence visa holders. If you are not eligible you will not be able to travel.
