The Emirates Group Celebrates the UAE’s 47th National Day

Dubai, U.A.E – 28 November 2018 - Emirates Group employees gathered today to commemorate the UAE’s 47th National Day at the group’s headquarters in Dubai. The celebrations kicked off with a cake-cutting ceremony attended by senior management, Emiratis as well as their expat colleagues and family members who enjoyed a wide range of cultural activities throughout the day.

As part of the celebrations, the Emirates Group hosted a number of traditional events and activities, showcasing various elements derived from the cultural heritage of the UAE. These include Al Ayala Dance, a traditional Emirati dance performance, and Henna Art, which is considered an integral part of UAE celebrations.  An Emirati-themed photo booth was also set up to give guests the opportunity to try on the traditional UAE National dress.

Kids had a share in this celebration, with a dedicated corner full of entertainment like face painting, learning old traditional games and other activities. The proceedings of this event will be donated to the Emirates Airline Foundation.
