Emirates Airline Official Carrier of the Government Summit 2015

Dubai, UAE – 7th February 2015 – The third Government Summit, held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has announced Emirates as its Official Carrier.  This year’s summit will be held from 9 to 11 February in Dubai under the theme ‘Shaping Future Governments’.

The partnership with Emirates Airline as Official Carrier stems from HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum’s vision for the development of government services grounded in innovation, similar to innovative products and services offered by leading airlines such as Emirates. It also underlines the importance of the Government Summit as a national project that integrates the contributions of the public and private sectors in supporting the government of the future that will provide exceptional services that exceed customer expectations, in line with the UAE Vision 2021.

This is the second consecutive year that the Government Summit partners with Emirates Airline,  drawing on its synergy with national partners to help support this large scale event which is the ideal platform to promote a culture of innovation in the development and delivery of advanced government services, ensuring the happiness of its citizens.

Sheikh Majid Al Mualla, Divisional Senior Vice President, Commercial Operations, Centre Emirates Airline stated: “The partnership with the Government Summit in its third instalment is in line with the airline’s efforts to continually enhance and improve its services to customers through encouraging and investing in innovative ideas. Emirates is keen to continue its partnership with the Government Summit  to strengthen the cooperation between the public and private sectors.”

Under the partnership agreement, Emirates Airline will provide air transport for the participating delegations and dignitaries travelling to the UAE from around the world for the third Government Summit.

The third Government Summit will be attended by over 3,000 delegates,  including a number of dignitaries,  international speakers, experts and intellectuals. There will also be 100 top speakers leading key interactive sessions. In addition, over 50 specialist sessions will be lead by thought leaders in the area of government innovation.
