Updates of flights to/from Iraq and Lebanon

Iraq: Emirates flights to and from Baghdad are cancelled until and including 31st January 2025. Customers transiting through Dubai on Emirates with final destination Baghdad will not be accepted for travel at their point of origin until further notice.

flydubai (FZ) flights to Baghdad are operating. Customers with confirmed bookings on flydubai (FZ) with final destination Baghdad will be accepted for travel. Customers are advised to regularly monitor flydubai’s (FZ) flight status.

Lebanon:  Emirates flights to and from Beirut are cancelled until and including 31stJanuary 2025. Customers transiting through Dubai with final destination Beirut will not be accepted for travel at their point of origin.

Customers impacted by flight cancellations must contact their booking agents for alternative travel options or contact us if booked directly with Emirates.

Customers are requested to ensure their contact details are correct by visiting Manage Your Booking to receive updates.

Flight disruptions on 24 January due to Storm Eowyn in the UK and Ireland

Due to the potential impact of Storm Eowyn in the United Kingdom and Ireland on 24 January 2025, the following Emirates flights are affected:

 

  • EK161 / 24 January: Dubai to Dublin is cancelled.
  • EK162 / 24 January: Dublin to Dubai is cancelled.
  • EK027 / 24 January: Dubai to Glasgow is delayed. The flight will operate as EK8207 and depart Dubai on 25 January at 0245hrs Dubai local time.
  • EK028 / 24 January: Glasgow to Dubai is delayed. The flight will operate as EK8028 and depart Glasgow on 25 January at 0845hrs UK local time.
  • EK035 / 24 January: Dubai to Newcastle is delayed. The flight will operate as EK8035 and depart Dubai on 25 January at 0305hrs Dubai local time.
  • EK036 / 24 January: Newcastle to Dubai is delayed. The flight will operate as EK8036 and depart Newcastle on 25 January at 0900hrs UK local time. 

Customers connecting on flight EK161 to Dublin on 24 January will not be accepted for travel at their point of origin.

Affected customers on cancelled flights who booked with travel agents should contact them for alternative travel arrangements. Customers who booked directly with Emirates may contact their local office for rebooking options.

Customers booked on Emirates flights to/from Newcastle and Glasgow will be rebooked and receive their updated itinerary via email. Alternatively, you can view your updated itinerary on Manage Your Booking.
