Europe
If you are travelling to Greece, you are required to take a COVID-19 PCR test and complete the Passenger Locator Form before departure.
COVID-19 testing requirements
All arriving passengers are required to remain in isolation under quarantine for precautionary reasons for 7 days upon arrival at their place of residence, as declared in the submitted Passenger Locator Form. If their stay in Greece is less than 7 days, the restriction will apply to that period of time.
Passengers arriving from the United Kingdom will be subjected to COVID-19 diagnostic rapid test at their point of entry upon their arrival in Greece and are required to remain in isolation under quarantine for precautionary reasons for 7 days upon arrival at their place of residence, as declared in the submitted Passenger Locator Form. If their stay in Greece is less than 7 days, the restriction will apply to that period of time. If the result of the rapid test is positive, the passenger will be subjected to strict isolation for 10 days. A negative molecular test (PCR) is required at the end of the 10-day isolation period to release the quarantine restriction.
All passengers flying to Greece, with the exception of children under 10 years, must present a negative COVID‑19 PCR test certificate, taken not more than 72 hours before arrival. The certificate must be in English, clearly indicating the passenger’s name and ID number, and presented to officers of the general secretariat for civil protection and the national public health organisation on arrival.
Transit passengers to Extra-Schengen destinations from Athens are not subject to the COVID-19 PCR test certificate requirement (of Greece).
Passengers may be subject to COVID‑19 tests on arrival. Tested passengers can then continue to their final destination. If the test result is positive, the passenger must stay in quarantine for 14 days under supervision at the passenger’s final destination.
Required forms
Passengers must complete the Passenger Locator Form (PLF) at least 24 hours before check‑in for their flight to Greece.
