The most colourful festival in the world

Experience the thrill and excitement of colour filling the air and decorating your clothes, during India’s much-anticipated Holi Festival. Celebrated on the 10th of March this year, Holi marks the end of winter and a time to gather together. The festivities, which begin with the Holika Dahan bonfire, promise to put a smile (and splatter of colour!) on everyone’s face.

Happy Holi treats from Emirates

Let the colourful festival experience begin on your plate. This Holi, on select India flights, we’ll be serving a Happy Holi box of signature sweet treats - including the signature kesar gujiya, filled with khoya, raisins and Chironji nuts. First class passengers will enjoy a refreshing Thandai drink, while our Delhi lounge visitors can indulge in Holi treats before boarding.

Where to celebrate Holi this year

The energy and colour of Holi has spread across the globe, and it is now celebrated worldwide. However, there’s still no better place to experience the festival than in India itself.
