OUR GOLF SPONSORSHIPS

European Tour

The European Tour features some of the best players in golf and hosts events in Europe and across the world.

We’ve been Official Airline Partner of the European Tour for over 10 years and we support 14 events on the international schedule as well as the Race to Dubai.

Hong Kong Open

We are proud to be the official partner of the UBS Hong Kong Open, one of the European Tour’s marquee Asian golf events.

The UBS Hong Kong Open attracts some of the best players from around the world and provides a great platform for us to connect with a global golf audience. Hosted at the Hong Kong Golf Club for over 60 years, the Hong Kong Open is sanctioned by both the European and Asian Tours. Recent winners include Justin Rose, Miguel Angel Jimenez, Rory Mcllroy and Ian Poulter. It is usually the first event in the European Tour Race to Dubai season.

DP World Tour Championship

Our continued support for the European Tour has seen us renew our sponsorship of the DP World Tour Championship in Dubai.

The USD 8 million DP World Tour Championship, a Rolex Series event at Jumeirah Golf Estates in November, hosts the top 50 golfers on the European Tour’s Race to Dubai, offering the biggest first tournament prize in global golf – USD 3 million. It is the grand finale of a season-long competition spanning 44 tournaments in 28 countries, which also crowns the No. 1 European Tour Golfer with a bonus pool of USD 5 million for the top 5 players, including USD 2 million for the winner.

WGC-HSBC Champions

We are proud to be associated with the WGC-HSBC Champions, one of four tournaments with world golf championship status.

The inaugural tournament was played in November 2005 at the Sheshan Golf Club, Shanghai – where the event still remains. We have been the event’s partner since it became the WGC-HSBC Champions in 2009.

Outside of the four majors, the WGC-HSBC Champions attracts one of the strongest fields from across the globe. With a prize fund of USD 10,250,000 in 2019 and world golf championship status, the WGC-HSBC Champions is one not to be missed on the golfing calendar.
