Travel to Taiwan, China
If you are travelling to Taiwan, you must take a COVID-19 PCR test before departure, complete a quarantine survey and undergo a 14-day quarantine on arrival.
COVID-19 PCR testing
All foreign passengers entering Taiwan must present a negative COVID-19 PCR test result certificate issued within 3 working days prior to departure.
- Foreign passengers who hold a resident card
- Personnel on diplomatic or official business, migrant workers, and students have been listed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Labor, and the Ministry of Education, respectively, as special cases. All other foreign nationals must provide such a certificate upon arrival in Taiwan.
Exemption will not be applicable from 1 December 2020 to 28 March 2020.
All passengers must complete a quarantine survey before boarding.
All passengers must undergo quarantine for 14 days on arrival in Taiwan. There is no exemption to this rule.
