Whether you’re meeting up with loved ones at home or travelling this Ramadan, we wish you peace, health and happiness wherever you are in the world. In the spirit of the Islamic holy month, we’re providing our fasting customers with specially designed Ramadan boxes before iftar on the ground and inflight on selected routes.
A tradition of generosity
This year’s Ramadan meal boxes feature intricate geometrical patterns and forms inspired by Sadu, the traditional Bedouin art of weaving.
Creating blankets, tents, camel saddles and other practical items for their community, Sadu weavers would gather in small groups and help each other in the weaving process. And as they weave, they share news about their families, sing and even recite poetry together.
The design of our meal boxes reflect this spirit of togetherness and generosity, in keeping with the spirit of the holy month.
