As routes begin to open we continue to get back on the road. Check the availability of our Chauffeur-drive service here.
Our drivers in Dubai will be wearing a mask and gloves. You will need to wear a mask too and any other PPE required in your destination. We have these in the car if you need them and there’s hand sanitiser too.
To keep a safe distance we’re limiting the number of people in each car and you will need to sit in the back seats.
The car is completely cleaned and disinfected from the start of every driver’s duty. And the interior is sanitised after every trip, including common touchpoints like buckles, handles, buttons, switches and blinds.
We’re wearing our face masks at the airport and you’ll need to have yours on too.
Only people who are travelling can enter the airport, unless you have a disability and need assistance to travel.
There’s a quick temperature check before you hand your travel documents over at our desk. We’ll give you a complimentary hygiene kit containing gloves, a face mask, antibacterial wipes and a hand sanitiser.
Our check-in desks are fitted with protective antimicrobial screens and we’ve added spacing stickers on the floor to help everyone maintain a safe distance in the queue. Or you can use our separate self check-in and bag drop kiosks.
You can also register for our biometric path and experience a contactless journey through Emirates Terminal 3 using only facial recognition. Find out more about our smart journey.
You can relax in our Business Class Lounge on Concourse B at Dubai International airport. Entry is complimentary for First Class, Business Class and eligible Emirates Skywards members, and we also offer paid access. Our partner lounges around the world are also opening, however all other Emirates Lounges in Dubai and around the world are closed for the time being. Look for a lounge at your departure airport here.
We’re wearing our face masks in the lounge and you’ll need to wear yours too when you’re not eating or drinking.
There are spaced floor markers at the entrance and we’ve reduced the number of people able to enter the lounge. Our chairs and tables are spaced further apart and are thoroughly sanitised after each use.
We’ve made a few service changes to maintain the strictest levels of hygiene and safety. If you’re travelling in First Class, you can order from our contactless menu by scanning a QR code on your phone. And you can relax in our exclusive Moët & Chandon champagne bar. Business Class customers can enjoy a buffet served by our team.
Our cleaning teams keep the washrooms thoroughly clean after each use and common touchpoints are frequently sanitised. In our showers, we provide hygienically packed towels and mats. You can also visit the Timeless Spa at Dubai International Airport Hotel to enjoy a complimentary 15 minute treatment if you’re eligible.
We sanitise our recliner seats in the quiet areas after each use and we’ve removed the pillows. We’ve also removed the newspapers and magazines for now. We are offering some business services, however our children’s area remains closed until further notice.
We’re making sure everyone can keep a safe distance with spaced seats and floor stickers while you wait to board.
We’re boarding the aircraft in small groups from the last row to the first, and our boarding gate areas are deep cleaned once everyone is on the flight.
Remember to keep your mask on at all times in the airport, during boarding, and on board.
Our cabin crew look a little different in their full personal protective equipment (PPE) but they give you the same warm welcome on board.
You need to keep your mask on throughout the flight when you’re not eating or drinking. You may also need to wear gloves or other PPE depending on the regulations in your destination.
If you’re flying into Dubai, we’ll give you a hygiene kit on board containing a mask, gloves, hand sanitiser and antibacterial wipes.
Before every trip, all our aircraft go through an enhanced cleaning and disinfection process. And on board we’ve made a few changes to maintain strict levels of hygiene and safety.
Our lavatories are frequently disinfected. And if the flight is longer than 1 hour 30 minutes, we’re adding an extra member of our cabin crew dedicated to cleaning the lavatories.
Even the cabin air is constantly cleaned through advanced HEPA air filters as powerful as the ones used in hospitals. Watch our video to see how it works.
You can check in to our A380 First Class Shower Spa and we’ll give you a personal kit of spa products. And our A380 Onboard Lounge and the social areas on all our aircraft are open with a few adjustments for hygiene and safety.
You can check all our current services here by searching for your destination.
If you have a connecting flight in Dubai, you will need to keep your mask on through the airport. You don’t have to wear gloves, but it is recommended. You’ll pass through a thermal scanner before you enter the connections area.
All our transfer desks have been fitted with protective antimicrobial screens and all the airport teams will be wearing masks. Stickers on the floor help everyone to keep a safe distance in queues, and we’ve spaced the seats in our waiting areas.
