Requirements for arriving passengers

  • Passengers must complete the health declaration form provided on board before leaving the aircraft.
  • Citizens or returning residents who present a negative COVID-19 PCR test certificate issued within 48 hours of departure, if they do not display symptoms of COVID-19, will be allowed to immediately proceed to self-quarantine at home.
  • Passengers who do not present a negative COVID-19 PCR test certificate will be detained at a holding facility until they can be tested for COVID-19. Once they are tested and found negative for COVID-19, they will be discharged immediately for self-quarantine at home. If found to be positive for COVID-19, they will undergo mandatory 14-day quarantine at an isolation facility.
  • Passengers displaying symptoms of COVID-19, whether or not they present a negative COVID-19 PCR test certificate will be detained at a holding facility until they can be tested for COVID-19. If they test negative for COVID-19, they will be discharged immediately for self-quarantine at home. If found positive for COVID-19, they will be detained at an isolation facility for 14 days.

Requirements for departing passengers

  • Effective 1 October 2020, all passengers must present a negative COVID-19 PCR test certificate issued within 72 hours of departure. Check the list of recommended facilities where passengers can obtain COVID-19 free certificates.
  • Passengers will undergo temperature checks at the airport.
