Terms and conditions

• The bus service is operated by a third party service provider, who bears full responsibility for the complete bus journey in terms of insurance and liability.
• The bus service is only applicable to Economy Class and Premium Economy passengers booked on an Emirates flight into/out of Dubai, and arriving from or departing with that Emirates flight.
• Passengers must hold a valid flight ticket to board the bus.
• Emirates is not in a position to accept passengers that do not have a prior booking made and/or do not have a relevant flight ticket due to limited capacity.
• The bus service must be booked at least 48 hours in advance. Requests received after this time will not be guaranteed.
• Minimum connecting time required is 2 hours for inbound and outbound passengers.
• Normal Emirates baggage allowance apply.
• Passengers must hold an Emirates issued ticket, where the ticket number starts with 176. Tickets issued by other airlines are not eligible.
• When buying your flight ticket on emirates.com, make sure to specify Abu Dhabi or Al Ain as the departure or arrival city to ensure that your booking on the bus is included on your flight ticket.
• When buying a flight ticket through an Emirates office or travel agent, you should request the agent to include the Abu Dhabi or Al Ain bus on your ticket before issuing your ticket.
• Tickets issued without the bus service will need to be amended by the issuing agent. No charges will apply for later adding only the bus service to the ticket, where the flights remain unchanged. Any changes to the flights linked to the bus service will result in change fees and fare difference being applicable as per the fare conditions of your ticket.

Emirates has partnered with Quick Shuttle bus service between Seattle and Vancouver for passengers travelling on EK flights to or from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport whose origin or final destination is Vancouver BC, Canada.

Book your bus transfer

To book the Quick Shuttle bus service between Seattle and Vancouver, simply select 'XEA' as the starting point or destination when booking your flights on emirates.com. The cost for the bus ticket will be included in your overall fare. You must book at least 48 hours before you are due to travel.

Your email address will be shared with Quick Shuttle in order for you to receive a ticket for your bus journey after the booking is made on emirates.com. The Bus ticket will be mailed to you 7 days prior to your scheduled departure.

You cannot change or cancel reservations for the bus service from the Quick shuttle web site. Quick shuttle stops are at the following three points for passengers originating travel in Vancouver BC:

For passengers taking the Quick Shuttle bus at SEATAC airport, the bus originates from outside the EK baggage claim area at Seattle Tacoma airport.

Terms and conditions

• The bus service is operated by a third party, Quick Shuttle, who bears full responsibility for the complete bus journey in terms of insurance and liability. In case of unexpected off-schedule operation due to traffic jams or other conditions such as weather, Quick Shuttle will try to find alternative routes, however there may be a possibility of late arrival or cancellation of the bus service. Emirates will be exempt from any liability and will also not provide any alternative transportation or travel expense in such a situation.
• The bus service is only applicable to passengers booked on an Emirates flight into/out of Seattle-Tacoma International Airport whose origin or final destination is Vancouver BC, Canada.
• The bus service must be booked at least 48 hours in advance.
• To book the bus service between Seattle and Vancouver, simply select 'XEA' as the starting point or destination when booking your flights on emirates.com.
• If you purchased an EK ticket from emirates.com OR the Emirates office OR the Travel agent, without requesting the bus service, you will need to buy a separate bus ticket for your journey from the quick shuttle website www.quickshuttle.com by paying the applicable bus fare.
• The minimum connecting time required is 1 hour 30 minutes for inbound and outbound passengers.
• The normal Emirates baggage allowance applies.
• In case you miss the bus, Emirates will not bear any transportation expense since this is a service operated by a third party. You may however be able to get accommodated on the next service of Quick shuttle subject to seats being available.
• Passengers are required to board the bus 15 minutes prior to departure time.
• A washroom is available on the bus and there is free Wi-Fi.
• The bus service schedule is available on the Quick Shuttle website and passengers are responsible for checking the schedule before travelling.

Booking notices

• Contracts of Carriage: Your journey comprises of two distinct journeys governed by separate contracts of carriage. Theses distinct journeys are provided by two separate transport providers and have different applicable terms and conditions.
• In addition to the Emirates’ General Conditions of Carriage (including related rules, regulations and policies and any applicable tariffs) please note that:
  
  • Different liability regimes may apply to your flight (operated by Emirates) and your bus journey (operated by Quick Coach Lines Limited).
  • Emirates disclaims any liability to you for your bus journey. Any complaint or queries in relation to your bus journey should be directed to Quick Coach Lines Limited.
  • Quick Shuttle disclaims any liability to you for your air journey. Any complaint or queries in relation to your air journey should be directed to Emirates.

Terms and conditions

• The complimentary bus service is operated by a third party service supplier who bears full responsibility for the complete bus journey in terms of insurance and liability. In case of unexpected off-schedule operation due to traffic jams or other conditions such as weather, the supplier will try to find alternative routes, however there may be a possibility of late arrival or cancellation of the bus service. In some instances, passengers may not be allowed to board the bus due to the supplier’s security conditions. Those cases will be exempt from Emirates’ liability. In case of the above circumstances, Emirates will not provide alternative transportation or travel expense.
• The bus service must be booked at least 24 hours in advance. Passengers who have not made a prior bus booking may be accepted depending on seat availability as long as they hold a valid flight ticket.
• Our normal baggage allowance applies and storage space on the bus is limited. In case of excess baggage, you can use an unaccompanied delivery service at your own expense. No baggage exceeding the free baggage allowance and size will be accepted on the bus.
• Passengers are required to board the bus 15 minutes prior to departure time. Please also check the latest departure and arrival times.
• If you miss your scheduled bus, Emirates will not bear any transportation expense since this is a complimentary service.
• The bus service is only available to passengers booked on an Emirates flight into/out of Kansai Airport on the same day. However, if you cannot take the bus on the same day due to quarantine issues at arrival, etc., you can rebook the next operated bus service from Kansai Airport to Nagoya Station. Rebooking for any reasons other than those mentioned earlier are prohibited
• Please contact staff at the bus meeting place and provide them with your name.
• If you purchased your ticket including the bus segment from emirates.com, please select "Nagoya Station" as your departure or destination at the time of booking.
• If you would like to add a bus segment after your ticket has been issued from emirates.com or the Emirates call centre, please contact your local Emirates office.
• If you would like to add a bus segment to a ticket issued from a travel agency, please contact the travel agency where you purchased a ticket.
• Please refrain from waiting in the JR Bus waiting room or other facilities nearby.
• Customers under the age of 16 cannot use the bus service alone.
• There is no toilet on the bus. The bus will stop for a short break only once while driving. Passengers cannot join or leave the bus from the short break point
• You are required to wear a seatbelt while riding the bus.
• Wearing a mask is not mandated. However please wear a mask if you feel unwell.
• The bus service may be cancelled the day before if there are no passengers booked.
• Cannot be used with other airline tickets (other than ticket number starting from 176).
