TRAVEL SUPPORT
You must wear cloth or medical mask throughout Dubai International, during boarding, throughout your flight, and as you leave the aircraft. Children under 6 years old and customers who have certain medical conditions do not have to wear a mask.
Due to local government regulations, only medical face masks are accepted on flights from Dubai to Germany.
If for medical reasons you’re unable to wear a mask throughout your entire journey, just contact us 48 hours before your flight to request an exception and present your medical certificate at check‑in. You don't have to complete our MEDIF form. Then the cabin crew on your flight will be aware of your exemption.
The medical certificate must have the following information.
The validity of the medical certificate must be up to 3 months/ 90 days from the date of issuance. This document must be carried with you at all times during your journey.
The face mask exemption is valid only on‑board an Emirates aircraft.
Chauffeur-drive is available in nearly all of our current destinations. Check the availability of our Chauffeur-drive service here.
Our drivers in Dubai will be wearing a mask. Our chauffeurs around the world will follow the safety regulations in each destination. You will also need to follow the local safety regulations and bring your own mask and gloves to wear if these are required. Hand sanitiser will be available in your car.
The car is completely cleaned and disinfected from the start of every driver’s duty. And the interior is sanitised after every trip, including common touchpoints like buckles, handles, buttons, switches and blinds.

We’re wearing our face masks in the lounge and you’ll need to wear yours too when you’re not eating or drinking.
We’ve reduced the number of people able to enter the lounge. Our chairs and tables are spaced further apart and are thoroughly sanitised after each use.
We’ve made a few service changes to maintain the strictest levels of hygiene and safety. If you’re travelling in First Class, you can order from our contactless menu by scanning a QR code on your phone. And you can relax in our exclusive Moët & Chandon champagne bar. Business Class customers can enjoy a buffet served by our team.
Our cleaning teams keep the washrooms thoroughly clean after each use and common touchpoints are frequently sanitised. In our showers, we provide hygienically packed towels and mats. We sanitise our recliner seats in the quiet areas after each use and we’ve removed the pillows. We’ve also removed the newspapers and magazines for now. We are offering some business services, however our children’s area remains closed until further notice.
Our boarding gate areas are deep cleaned once everyone is on the flight.
