Veronica Cornacchini 30, hat designer, Super Duper Hats, Florence, Italy
I am originally from the centre of Italy, a small village near Perugia. I moved to Florence, because I went to school/university here and started to make hats. Florence has a good background in traditional hat-making, so I am lucky to be here. It’s a wonderful city, but not a crazy city. We live in the country, but we can get to the centre in 10 minutes by car. I am here at Fortezza de Basso for Pitti Immagine Uomo 86, the biggest menswear clothing trade show in the world. I’m working, presenting the new collection. I would describe my style as comfortable, and that’s why I put these clothes on this morning – really large cropped trousers, which I found at a market. superduperhats.com
