Tickets purchased and flights flown on or after August 1, 2021 are not eligible to earn Skywards Miles.
If you’ve flown on Alaska Airlines on or before July 31, 2021, but didn’t quote your Skywards Membership number, you can claim your Miles until July 31, 2022, by contacting us with your flight details using Live Chat(Opens link in the same tab).
For flights flown before July 31, 2021, the number of Skywards Miles earned depends on your class of travel, fare type and distance flown:
Main Class (Economy) - up to 1 Skywards Mile per mile flown.
First Class - up to 1.5 Skywards Miles per mile flown.
Miles can only be earned on Alaska Airlines operated flights and are not valid on codeshare flights.
Bookings in classes F, A, U, E, Z, X and T are not eligible to earn Miles.
If you have spent Skywards Miles on a reward ticket on or before July 31, 2021, for travel on or after August 1, 2021, you can use your reward ticket according to the existing ticket rules.
Rewards tickets are valid for 12 months from the original ticketed date with a maximum stay of three months.
