Are there additional baggage allowances if I’m traveling with an infant?

Checked baggage

Infant baggage allowances vary depending on whether the Weight Concept or Piece Concept applies.

Weight Concept:

Up to 10 kilograms (22 pounds) additional baggage, in addition to your usual baggage allowance.

Piece Concept:

  • One extra piece of baggage in addition to your usual baggage allowance, regardless of cabin class. This extra piece must be 23 kilograms (50 pounds) or less, with total dimensions (length plus width plus height) not exceeding 115 centimeters (45 inches).

Cabin baggage

Passengers traveling with infants in any class of service are also permitted one handbag for infant food (weight must not exceed 5 /11 pounds) and other inflight necessities and one fully collapsible stroller/carry-cot, as a carry-on item if cabin space is available or else as checked baggage in the hold.

Handbag: 55 by 38 by 20 centimeters (22 by 15 by 8 inches).
