What are the guidelines for Qatari nationals and residents after the Doha flight suspension?

As instructed by the UAE government, we’ve suspended all flights to and from Doha until further notice.

In addition, Qatari nationals are not permitted to enter the UAE or transit within any UAE airport, regardless of the type of travel document they hold. Exceptions are only made for Qatari nationals traveling with a UAE National who is also a first relative—a father, mother, son, daughter, wife, or husband.

Qatari nationals who aren’t traveling with a UAE national relative and have purchased an Emirates ticket to Dubai or transiting Dubai can request a refund. (At this time affected customers can’t rebook their tickets.)

In addition, expatriates holding Qatari residency who are either transiting through or entering the UAE will be processed with the normal entry formalities pertaining to their national passport.
