Travel to Jordan

If you are travelling to Jordan, you must take a COVID‑19 PCR test before departure, fill in the health declaration form and submit complete requirements.

Passengers traveling to Jordan from India are required to stay 45 days outside India before arrival to Jordan. Exception: Jordanian citizens and their families can be accepted regardless of their last exit from India on the condition that they comply with other entry requirements for all arriving passengers and undergo mandatory institutional quarantine for 14 days at the passenger’s own expenses in addition to 10 days home isolation after institutional quarantine.

Jordanian nationals travelling to Jordan, who have spent less than 14 days outside of India must complete version B and version C of the indemnity form.

Jordanian nationals travelling to Jordan, who have spent more than 14 days outside of India must complete version A of the indemnity form.

COVID-19 PCR testing

All passengers must present a negative certificate for a COVID‑19 PCR test conducted within 120 hours prior to the scheduled time of arrival in Jordan. A certificate from any government approved lab will be acceptable.

Passengers must install 'AMAN Application' on their personal device.

Passengers will undergo a second COVID-19 PCR test upon arrival. The cost of the test (JOD 28) must be paid online. After registration and successful payment, you will receive a QR code that must be presented at check-in to be accepted for your flight. The QR code must also be presented to the authorities upon arrival for verification.

Passengers who do not hold proof of EMD payment will be charged on arrival.

Passengers must have the health declaration form filled and presented for verification.

COVID-19 PCR test certificate and health forms must be presented at check in for verification.

Quarantine

All nationalities who have stayed more than 45 days outside of India before travelling to Jordan must undergo 14 days of home isolation.

Exemptions

Children below 5 years old are not required to take a COVID-19 PCR test before departure or on arrival.

Passengers coming to Amman for medical treatment can be accepted without a QR code if they carry an official letter of approval issued by the Private Hospital Association - Jordan.

Diplomats and employees of regional and international organizations as well as their dependents and family members holding special and/ or normal passports who are residing in Jordan QR Code are exempted from the following:

  • COVID-19 PCR test before departure
  • COVID-19 PCR test upon arrival
  • Health insurance

Apps required

Passengers are required to download and install the AMAN App upon arrival in Jordan.

Other information

Transfer passengers from outstations across the network can now be accepted through Dubai. The same restrictions apply to all passengers whether originating from Dubai or any other Emirates destination.

International transfer passengers are allowed at Jordanian airports following below criteria:

  • Negative COVID-19 PCR test is required within 72 hours prior to arrival in Jordan
  • The planned transfer time should not exceed 10 hours
