Dubai Aquarium is one of the largest indoor aquariums in the world; it holds the Guinness Record for the world’s largest acrylic panel.
Dubai Aquarium showcases 33,000 aquatic animals representing more than 220 species, including sharks and stingrays. The glass walkthrough tunnel makes for incredible close-encounter experiences with fascinating underwater animals.
The Underwater Zoo's 36 individual aquatic displays take visitors through various aquatic environments. The zoo offers an interactive approach to educate visitors on the ecology and sustainability of marine life.
The journey consists of three ecological zones: Rainforest, Rocky Shore, and Living Ocean. Each one features a variety of aquatic animals, including Penguins, Seals, Crocodiles, Piranhas, Spider Crabs, Water Rats, Giant Catfish, Lizards, Tiger Fish, and Dart Frogs.
Visitors also have the opportunity to swim among the sharks by participating in public shark dives or going on glass-bottomed boat rides over the surface of the aquarium.
